Error, Node047, WARNING: node revived

Post by BakSeeDaa »

Hi there! I need some advice.

I had a FIBARO System FGK101 Door Opening Sensor that stopped working. Now I need to remove it from my list of devices in OpenZWave Control Panel.

There are actually 2 devices that I need to remove. They are listed as follows:

Code: Select all

Node Id Basic Type Generic Type Product Name Location Value Last Heard Status
47 BR	Routing Slave	Routing Binary Sensor	FIBARO System FGK101 Door Opening Sensor	D5 on	09:31:00	CacheLoad (sleeping)
48 BR	Routing Slave	Routing Binary Sensor	FIBARO System FGK101 Door Opening Sensor	OLD off	09:31:04	Probe (sleeping)
The device is removed and has no battery. When I run the "Has Node Failed" command i get the following in the log:

Code: Select all

2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Error, Node047, WARNING: node revived
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always,
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always, Dumping queued log messages
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always,
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always,
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always, End of queued log message dump
2016-07-18 08:50:55.106 Always,
The status won't change to "Failed" as I would like it to so I can not remove failed devices.

The same goes for node 48. What is the "WARNING: node revived" message trying to tell me and how shall I proceed to delete the 2 ghost devices?

Thanks!!!

Good question, but a hard one.
I used to use tge 'has node failed' command to revive dead nodes that were just marked as dead.
I also have several real dead nodes in the list. Nodes that are replaced or where I needed to do a hard reset.
No mather what command I choose it seems impossible to remove them.

Is this a bug? I believe we should be able to delete dead nodes.

I removed the <CommandClass id="132" name="COMMAND_CLASS_WAKE_UP" entry for both of my nodes as suggested here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... yvofYlUMwU

After editing the file, I power cycled the Pi and now the devices where marked as "Dead". I was then able to remove the devices.

With what command did you do that?

In OpenZWave Control Panel.

I ran the Controller Operation "Remove Failed Node".

Strange, have 2 nodes that are marked as dead but I can't remove them. Already used that command 10 times (or more ;) )

I might have marked the failed node and ran the Controller Operation "Has Node Failed" command prior to running "Remove Failed Node" (Can't remember right now if I had to) Have You tried that?

Will try soon, on vacation now.
Have tried all commands that somewhere sound like they are involved for that.

Found a way that works on my system to remove a dead node:

Select node in OZWCP
Controller -> Remove failed node -> Go
Restart domoticz

Without restart of Domoticz the node just stay in the list.
Finally got rid of those 2 dead devices :)
