Custom Sensor - Cost Topic is solved

Hi, i am using the latest stable build and would like a custom sensor to log spot pricing for power from my energy supplier every x minutes. I have this working using a text sensor but would ideally like to display a graph which shows the price across the day and also set up notifications if the price goes above or under a certain threshold.

Issue with the text sensor is that the data is not graphed and i cannot set up notifications from within the UI. Iam i stuck with using the text sensor?

Upgrade to the beta version, add a dummy hardware device (if you have not done so already)
Then press the 'create virtual sensor', choose the new 'custom' type, enter the legend text

I'm having the same request to create dummy sensor that could show me actual costs based on my energy usage.
Now it's only available under device report.

How did you achieve that in costum sensor?
My goal is to reset cost data every two months - I got pricing from my energy supplier every two months.
