Plotwatt or Energy use disaggregation

Post by SenorSmartyPants »

Not sure if I'm in the right subforum but here goes.

I'm just getting started with home energy monitoring (I have no other automation hardware at the moment). I want to see cool graphs of my energy usage and have those broken down automatically into at least a couple sections. Basically what Plotwatt.com will do. But I don't see any talk about Plotwatt on this forum.

Can Domoticz export energy usage data to Plotwatt.com?

or

Can Domoticz do energy use disaggregation itself?

or...

Is there a different home automation system I should look at. Like I said I'm just starting out and haven't tried any software yet. But Domoticz looks very cool.

This looks like a commercial for Plotwatt
Anyway, see the manual for some graphs, and yes, you can create a lua script to upload to any site you want

I have nothing to do with Plotwatt.

So it sounds like no one has already made a script to upload to plotwatt. Good to know.
