Action Promax

Can someone tell something about the quality of the Promax devices?
Does RFXcom finds them all the time? I sometimes have troubles with the other models the Action had. They don't always switch.

I have three switches (one set) to use.
I use it now for over two months without any problems.
The RFXCOM has no problem with the activation but think of the proper placement of the RFXCOM

I tried over and over but their is no chance I get the IT protocol.

I'm doing exactly what you tell me to:

this my device: RFXtrx433E batch 4215
this is the firmware: RFXtrx433_Ext2_1001.hex (also tried 1002 en 1005)

But still don't see IT protocol.

What can go wrong?

IT is not received! See the messages of Mar 31 in this thread how to configure and use PROmax.
Always use the latest firmware, for now Ext2 - 1005

Thanks for your reaction.

I understand I cant receive the IT signal. But I want to send one so the ON/OFF switched (wich is on pairing mode) can receive it. So I understand (and did before on kaku devices) that I have to make an manual switch. Problem is I cant select the IT protocol.

Ok. got the rfxcom connected to the Promax on/off switch. But, I did it with the rfxmngr. I can send on and off signals. Lightning 5 (subtype IT). But I still cant send this signal from domoticz. What can be wrong? Please help getting crazy

I can connect the FA500 with domoticz, but then I cannot connect the RC with the FA500 and if I get the RC connected with the FA500, then I cannot connect the FA500 with domoticz.

Is that right, or am I doing something wrong?

The FA500 can have up to 5 remotes connected.
Reset the FA500 than add the FA500 remote and the Domoticz device.

I have done the test with the FA500S and a PROmax.
I have used RFXmngr to transmit an IT - Group Off command which should reset the module if the LED blinks on the module.
It operates correct on the PROmax but this Group Off command does not reset the FA500S!

I'm sorry but I don't know how to reset the FA500S to remove all remotes. Please contact ELRO for this.

Hi, this the answer from Elro, at the moment only in dutch.
I have tried it with a HE840IP, and now its working.

But how can you unsubscribe all with the RFXCOM if you don't have a HE840IP ???

De FA500 heeft geen reset, u kunt aan en afmelden.
Het aanmelden van de FA500S gaat als volgt.
Stop de FA500S in het stopcontact, het rode lampje gaat 10 seconden langzaam knipperen.
Druk binnen deze tijd op de LEARN knop in de web interface van de HE840IP.
De HE840IP zendt een aan signaal naar de FA500S.
Hierna is hij aangeleerd en kunt u het product gebruiken.
Let op: per stuk aanmelden.

FA500S afmelden.
Haal de ontvanger uit het stopcontact wacht enkele seconden en plaats deze terug.
De rode led gaat weer 10 seconden langzaam knipperen.
Druk binnen deze tijd op de OFF knop in de web interface van de HE840IP.
De HE840IP zend een aan signaal naar de FA500S.
Hierna is het geheugen gewist.

Just bought a set at the Action. But what I try, it won't work.

Raspberry Pi with RFXcom433e. IT-protocol present
Domoticz v3.4834

How to solve this?

When I push the test-button. It sends the signal, but the switch won't go on, keeps blinking
Learning with the remote that comes with the set, does work.

IT transmit is supported in Ext2 firmware. You have Ext2 firmware in the RFXtrx433E?

Disconnect the module from the power,
Wait 5 seconds,
Connect the module to the power,
The LED on the module should blink now and transmit an ON command.
