Will removed unused but existing devices be re-added?

Howdee folks,

I have a s.tload of devices linked to my Razberry listed as unused in my devices section in Domoticz. Now, for most of them I have no clue what they are for (I can't link them to switches or sensors in my house as they are already added afaik). So I was planning to select them and remove them.
What would happen if I do and I realize that indeed it was a device I should have added? Will this device automatically reappear in the list as unused device or do I have to re-add the device to the zwave controller (which would suck as you lose all historical data for that device)?

As far as I know if you delete a device, you have to exclude/include a z-wave sensor for that device to re-appear.
