Hi all
I've just setup domotics with a raspberry pi and a rfxtrx433e
Been searching the forums but could not find an answer.
Closest was someone asking he same thing but ended up going an external script to the wifi link.
I have been using a JSJSLW930 LightwaveRF Wifi Link ( Wi-Fi Link ) and mood controllers to set the (moods) of the rooms in my house
All devises learn the moods (up to 5 moods)
When I use the wifi link or mood controller I can command all the sockets or lights to switch together to the stored mood.
Now switching to domoticz I can set the mood controllers as a trigger for a scene which works ok.
However the scene switches the devices one by one.
How can I get domoticz to send the same command as the mood controller is sending?
How can I Send a group mood 1 command to rfxtrx433e via domoticz or Json?
This would give the best of all worlds.
The native lightwaverf mobile app, room mood buttons connected to domoticz giving the hoped flexibility to place commands under each button that will switch the lights, sockets at the same time to a mood
Thanks
Dkeith

Simple answer is at the moment, I don't think you can make Domoticz send the same RF command as the mood switch does.dkeith83 wrote:However the scene switches the devices one by one.

LightwaveRF devices provide no feedback to tell a controller what state they are in or that they have received a command and been activated. This sacrifices reliability for simplisity / speed, as only one RF command / RF communication can be happening over a single RF frequency at once.
My understanding is that in general LightwaveRF devices are paired to individual controllers, remote controllers, WiFi link, mood switches etc. by an RF command.
Domoticz works in the same way, you pair a particular code to each device.
A LightwaveRF Mood switch must work in a different way, when you programme a mood, then each paired device must record its current state and associate this with the mood button being pressed on the mood switch. So the Mood switch sends a single RF command and knows nothing about what each device does when this RF command is sent.
So in order for Domoticz to act in the same way as a mood button on a Mood Switch then we would have to replicate the Mood Switch process.
We would need to pair all the devices wanted to be controlled to a single on/off code. Then we would need Domoticz to send this code plus the mood modifier as a single RF command.
Domoticz is able to recieve the Mood Switch mood button RF commands and decode them - http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... mood#p3963 - so it may be possible to reverse engineer this and send the recieved command. It is not immediately obvious to me to how to do this - for this to work RfxTrx433e needs to be able to send the correct RF command and Domoticz needs to be programmed to do this.
Having done this then you could either have the best of both worlds or the worst - if you want to have individual device control from Domoticz you will need to pair each device twice with Domoticz and when you send the Mood Switch mood RF command, you will no longer have any idea what state your devices are in, as Domoticz will have no idea what state each individual switch has stored for the mood. You will have the same instant action though.
So implementation of this sort of breaks Domoticz.
