Danfoss/Devolo LCD display not showing setpoint value

I've got a few Devolo and one Danfoss radiator thermostat heads (LC13), with Domoticz running on a Raspberry with a Aeon Gen5 Z-wave stick. After some initial configuration problems (not all Danfoss thermometers were recognised, I had to add one by hand in the configuration file), I've got everything more or less working as it should.

I wonder, however, the LCD screen on the thermostat never shows the setpoint value, unless when pressing the middle button on the thermostat head. In default condition it is completely emptry, no information at all. Is this normal behaviour? When I look at the images on the folders, manuals etc. they always show the setpoint value, battery status etc.

This is normal. Ik have the LG-13's.
Due to energie saving it show's only the setpoint when the middle button is pressed.

If you consider, however, that an lcd watch can permanently show time for more than two years, with a much smaller battery, I wonder whether the saving power argument is really convincing. Anyway, it's not just my configuration than.
