I recently found this site when I was looking at MySensor.org and just really enjoyed what I was reading. I started doing small automation projects around the house and thought that I would really like to see if I could use basic sensors to monitor my Outdoor Hydroponics vegetable garden with the sensors and have Domoticz do all the logic to maintain the Water level, water temperature, nutrient levels, PH levels.
I want to get you’re guys/girls opinion on some options and to see if it is even possible for Domoticz to do the following.
All the values you would provide are in the table attached to this post below and have Domoticz monitor the levels based on values and perform logic to maintain the levels.
Each week flush the tank, PH balance the tank, add the Base nutrient, and add the other nutrients. Rinse and repeat based on the Grow stage and Week.
Do you think something like this can be done with Domoticz and if so what do you think the best way to accomplish this would be in your opinion?
I am not a programmer or a script guru; more of a hobbyist enthusiast looking to learn by doing and getting help/direction from guys/girls like you.
I think this would be a cool project and I am sure others would also benefit from something like this.
Any advice would be helpful.
