RFXcom problem

Hi All, I am new to the forum but have been running domoticz for a while using an RFXcom as my RF interface and a milight WIFI interface to control RGB fixtures. All this running on my windows home server which is on 24/7

I have ran into a problem the last few weeks.

When trying to turn on a light using the software it comes up with an error - Error sending switch command, check device/hardware !
this reports in the log saying RFXcom error opening serial port retrying in 30 seconds

BUT
When i press a scene button everything happens as it should. Also when i press a button on a siemens remote (which is linked to a scene to turn off an individual light) it works fine and reads correctly in the software.

So im at a bit of a loss as to what the problem is, everything seems to be as it should in device manager etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Could it be you are using scripts or on/off actions ?
