KAKU specs

Post by manjh »

I am getting up to speed using the Domoticz system, and am getting more enthousiastic by the day.
One thing that I am having a little trouble with, is that once I have created a switch, it is no longer possible to see the underlying specs.
For instance, I have a number of light switches for KAKU devices. But I can no longer check which KAKU addresses I used to set them up.
Am I missing something?

That's very useful for incoming devices, but I don't think switches that I defined manually are on there, are they?

Excellent. I had not seen that in the large list of devices. I guess some of my neighbours own weather stations...
Next question is how I can see what KAKU address was used? I can see a few switches of subtype ARC, but no address.

Got it. I need to learn to read a bit more before drawing conclusions.
The number under the header "ID" is the hexadecimal representation of the KAKU home address.
A simple ASCII table helps to understand.
The value under "unit" is the device address.
In my case: ID 45 Unit 4 is KAKU E4.
