Hi all,
Think my owl transmitter is a maybe on its way out.
Tried new batteries etc.. but it just seems to be hit and miss whether domoticz (or the owl monitor) picks up updates from the device.
How often are the owl monitor supposed to chuck out updates?
If I move the transmitter slightly (cables etc..), it tends to make a difference on the frequency of update's and whether the monitor or Domoticz picks any updates up at all!!
Cheers
Stuart

Re: Owl Energy monitor and update freq
OK looking into it more, I've got the Byron/Oregon3.0 problem.
OK, electricity meters for the UK, is there another solution to logging electricity usage, another owl transmitter maybe?! with the rfxtrx?

I have the same issue. Did you find an alternative to Owl?
Running Domoticz on Pi3 with RFXtrx433e. LWRF power sockets and dimmer switches. Integrated my existing wirefree alarm PIRs and door contacts with domoticz. Geofencing with Pilot. Harmony Hub. Tado for Heating. Now playing with mysensors.

in the end, I opted to go for a z-wave energy meter. Much more reliable and trustworthy, a aeon HEM.
