PIR-sensor/bewegingsmelder Home Security Aliexpress

Post by kvanhoorn »

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with these sensors?
http://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Ship ... 77500.html

I contacted the supplier a couple of times, but their English is that bad that I'm not able to communicate with them.
So, anyone any good experience with Domoticz and the cheap motion sensors?

Kind regards

They will work, see this topic: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 262#p32296
Be sure to get the 4333Mhz version, not the 315Mhz.

But be aware of the fact that those PIR's only send a on signal, so you will need a 'off delay' in Domoticz.
And they also seem to use quite a bit of power, resulting in empty battery quite fast: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 180#p50660

@ThinkPad I saw that topic earlier, but wasn't shure if the PIR motion detectors were compatible too. Do I also need to change some jumpers or alter the chip or is it plug and play?

Maybe I should start with two just in case. 433 Mhz Home Alarm System Wireless PIR Sensor / Motion Detector - 2 Pack
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/433mhz-h ... 30901.html are these the same protocol?

If you get one with a PT2262 or SC2262 chip, it will work with RFXCOM. But you can only be sure if it is mentioned in the product description. Hard to tell from only a picture of the complete unit ;)
Best to see if you can find a link from the topic i mentioned, and order them from that seller.

I've bought 433MHZ Wireless PIR Motion Detector for Home Alarm Home Security from Banggood.
http://www.banggood.com/433MHZ-Wireless ... 52710.html

Package:

Opened, circuit visible:
https://goo.gl/photos/gYpsP2EqyEkfgVrJ9

Circuit, front side:
https://goo.gl/photos/pYF7HHStXpjnesuRA

Circuit, back side:
https://goo.gl/photos/nSDb72dU3s14U7QG9

PROs:
  • Cheap, 10,94 euros
  • Works with RFXtrx433E and Domoticz
  • Jumper for setting LED off
  • Possibility to set alarm delay (5 sec, 50 sec or 5 min)
  • The package includes 10 spare jumpers
CONS:
  • Long delivery time (48 days to Finland)
  • Sends only ON command (need to use OFF delay)
  • Instructions don't explain Code Jumper settings
  • Difficult installation
I had no idea how to set Code Jumpers so I copied to settings from here: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... =40#p17076

The above jumpers settings show up in Domoticz as:
25 RFXtrx433E FF5515 0 Liiketunnistin Lighting 4 PT2262 Off 7

Lighting4 protocol must be enabled in RFXtrx433E.
