IP Video Door Bell - Atz-dbv01p

Hi,

Following the request of a member, here are a few words about the Atz-dbv01p that I have bought from aliexpress : http://fr.aliexpress.com/item/ATZ-DBV01 ... 94912.html

I use it with RJ45 wire because, I'm not confident to use it with the wifi (possible with PowerOverEthernet to avoid an 12v supplementary wire) With a quick test it seems to need to be very close with the WifiBox (<7m ? But I need to test again to be sure.)

So with the ATZ in Ethernet and the phone in 4G :
Pro :
- Very good Video Quality, even in HD. (in fact you have 3 quality SD, LD, HD).
- Very good audio quality. And it's Full duplex.
- The iphone Apps is very good too. In 1 month, I had 3 updates of bug fix.
- Configuration is very easy. This is unbelievable. power it up on you network. Install the app on your phone. Register yourself. Ring the bell and TADA ! You get a notification on your phone on 4G, at work. This is magic. No network configuration needed. (I have a dynamic IP at home, Firewall...) That mean that probably the video Bell use a technic called reverse proxy and must declare itself on a central serveur (in china ?). Same thing than TeamViewer if you know it.

Con:
- At ATZ side, there is a constant background noise, like a little blow of wind. Nothing important, but it make me crazy to think that it consumes power. Even if it is not much. The atz support team that I have contacted about this, said it's 2 to 3 Watt consumption only.
- The 433Mhz chime is not "detected" by RFXCOM. A big disappointment for me.
- And up today, there is nothing to comand it easily. (I planned to command by domoticz the relay for example). I ask the support about an API, and in return, they send me a very gentle 100Mo tar.gz file !!! All the source code and documentation of their iphone and android apps. All in chinese !!! Not a word of english !

In conclusion : An IP video Door Bell. Yes ! It's brilliant ! But this one , I don't know... I have no comparaison.

And I send an SOS ! Did there a chinese reader around here ? If so, I would make a deal : translation in exchange of developpement

Got one too, paid 70€ on eBay.

First : to get a notification on Domoticz when someone ringing :

With Tasker watch for modification on dir where is store the picture who is take when pressing Button and set an httppost to update a dummy domoticz switch

Second : you can have the vidéo as a security cam putting this on cam URL section :

Third : to activate ringphone relay :

Create a dummypush on switch then edit an on Action On put :

No no, Unfortunately,

I have bought the new one full duplex, better wifi, better HD ( according to what they say): the Atz-dbv01p. (and not the 601, 602, 603...) and the old hack doesnt work...
I have wireshark"ed" the network, and this one is far more complex. it's P2P packet ... to difficult for me.

Hum OK ! Sorry for this, external looks the same clone.... Does it have a web interface aviable on internet explorer (old one doesn't work with Chrome)

I think I have a clone of the same model just named
"Asdibuy" CVLM-J125. 1280x720p video Hi3518E cpu
Black colored on front panel, it's audio is full duplex .
it can use 2 android app (smart home cloud and smart home p2p both from google play)
or from www.ipupnp.com
both work the same on local network, the first work also from gsm 3G network
(they require an email to register and login)

From port scan it looks open only port 554 and 5000.
Unfortunaly unti now I canot get image or video using any other
way not the app. (it say on the box that is onvif , tcp/Ip, UDP etc..)

let me know if you discover how to get video from other app.


I have also a wifi-601 that is half duplex, so I have bought this one to check if it was better.
The wifi601 was easy to acquire also using "ip cam viewer" app to see all my ip cam

Exact. It's the same. (same 554 & 5000port). I feel less alone !

If an android or iOs developper buy this devise, I may work with him because I own all the source code of this application (both android and iOs) . So I think, it will be easy to reverse engineering it. Send me a PM.

I'm interested to have the source code of the app, just to know how it works, may be is possible just to learn how it works.
I can easily understand french language , I'm italian and I have lived in france for 3 years, 30 years ago.
I'll try to check if your app can work with my model, may be " yoosee " work only for their devices, as my ipupnp can work only for their devices.
On google play you can find an app that work with my IP door phone called "Smart Home P2P" that looks a different way to access to ipdoor phone
then the suggested "Smart Home Cloud" that I use. Both work for my ipdoor phone, both ask for an email to register App, but I do not know if both require cloude to connet to ip door phone.

Both "Yoose" and "ipupnp" I have seen that propose cms as client to acquire video from personal computer, did you obtain image or video using it ?
Unfortunally I have installed cms but I do not detect any devices using cms.

Hi. I have the same atz eBell but unfortunately I have an off topic problem. Please forgive me but there is no other site where someone refers that he bought this bell and the company helpdesk was not helpful. My main problem is that I do not receive iOs notifications no matter what I do ,but only on Android.I get them only when the app is open and running. If i close it or put it in background it works for 2 minutes. After that nothing.I even used DMZ on router for ebell, opened ports for ios notifications but nothing (Wifi or 4G). I have the latest firmware and software.Do you have the same problem ? Thank you

@jmleglise : Hi, have you finally been able to get your Domoticz box talk with DBV10P ?
Like everyone using this doorbell, I'd like to set some actions from DBV01P pushed button; I've read that there is a solution with using a RFXCOM doorbell electronics and solder some wires inside the DBV01P. But I'd prefer not to solder anything inside !
What about the source code you got from ATZ ? Have you been able to read it ? It would be great to get the right P2P packet to make it work with domoticz controls or any other domotic box ?

Voici le schéma de montage pour rajouter une sonnette complémentaire 433Mhz.
L’alimentation de la sonnette fonctionne avec l’alimentation d’origine ou via RJ45 en POE
Il vous faudra par contre un relais 3V SMD à intégrer dans le boitier. Le montage n’est pas aisé et vous perdez la garantie donc attention

or using vlc into a computer.

to discover ip number you can use programs on winndows like portscan from CompSoft
you can get free, and you can discover the dbv01p device from mac address
4a:bd:ef:xxxxxxxx and open port 554 and 5000

I have installed the door phone using ethernet cable.
The video quality during the day is "superb", very high quality.
Every time someone press the button also a very good quality record movie
of about 2 minute is stored into the sd card.

Audio quality is quite good, but not as high as the video, I would prefer
better audio and a little lower video quality, but anyway is quite good.

Night vision is good enought to recognize people, but wifi601 door phone work little
better in this condition, it stay color mode,
atz-dbv01p instead is always Black and white at night in infrared mode.
When you connect at night just to see video, without people in front of
door phone, it start all black and takes 5 or 6 second to auto adjust
gain to show an image of the landscape correctly exposed.

I have installed the app and register using email mode.
About the App , there is a couple of think that I would prefer should be
made in different way:

1) when i connect to door phone without any call from outside, I cannot
open the door, there is no way to send the open command.
The open command is available only if a call has been originated by external press of the button
on the door phone. (this is very unpleasant for me)

2) I have installed the app also in an asus memopad tablet with android 4.2.x
Unfortunally when I set the admin password using my phone (asus zenfone 2 andoid 5.0.1)
it looks that I cannot set an admin password that include only numbers, It force me to include almost
one alphabetic char, but when I try to set the password on the tablet, I can only enter numbers,
is not possible to insert alphabetic char, so i can setup my app on tablet only in guest mode.
(in Guest mode, it looks to me that I cannot answer to an external call, and so i cannot open the gate
using the tablet)

I would like to know if other people has the same problem or if I haven't understand something and
You do not have the same behaviour.

Update info. now all works ok also on the asus tablet.
The app downloaded from www.ipupnp.com was too old, and cannot accept alphanumeric password, (rev 00.76.
but using the same app downloaded on my phone from google play market (rev 00.76.00.08)
(I have used the extractapk to get out it from the phone, because market say that the
app was not comptatible with my tablet)
once installed on the asus tablet, all works correct and I can enter the password admin.
now also the tablet ring when someone press the button.

just one think to take care.... max 5 device can be enabled to accept allarm, so
only 5 device can answer then open tha gate.
