Problem with "Nice" products.

Post by Jarn »

Hi all,

This after a helpfull forward from Egregius.

Original topic

Explanation:
We have a 2 sunscreens that are capable of receiving commands via 433MHz, We have a Nice Ergo 6 remote.
It works with a 52 bit rolling code (I dunno if this could be the problem)
And the main problem is that domoticz + the rfxcom RFX433E transmitter doesn't recognize it.

Research Material:
Site: http://niceforyou.com

My setup:
Synology NAS DS213j with following packages: (http://packages.synocommunity.com + http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta/)
Domoticz Version: V2.4372
Domoticz Hardware: RFXCOM - RFXtrx433 USB 433.92MHz Transceiver, Version: 250

Is this enough info or do you guys need more? :)
Thanks in advance!

Rolling code is a security to doesn't enable someone to copy your remote, impossible to decode it...

One solution : buy another remote, sold button to an rpi gpio, and done...
Domoticz stable 3.5877 for real & Domoticz beta for test
Rfxtrxe / RFLink / Milight / Yeelight / Tasmota / MQTT / BLE / Zigate
