First Domoticz project

Hi all,

First off all, I'm a rookie to all of this.

So it al started last month, I found domoticz on the synocommunity package space.(its installed on my SYNOLOGY NAS DS213j)
I installed it and did some research on the net (mostly on this wiki). I was sold.

So, after I learned enough I decided to buy a RFXCOM RFXTRX433E and a COCO Wireless Kit AWST-8800 + ACM-1000.
II got it to work yesterday (after some problems with the updates/drivers etc...).
Now, it works like a charm.

Now the problem is that we also have a sunscreen from "NICE", it also has a 433MHz transmitter and I thought the transceiver would be able to "recognise" the code, but it (still) doesn't...

After spending some time on the internet I found a brouchure of "NICE' Ergo 6" that had little info on it, It did say it had a 52 bit rolling code (Is this the same as freeloq or could it be something else?)

Do you guys have some tips?

I also had some problems with the package from SynoCommunity on my nas, it seems that this is an old version! Use this repo to install the latest Domoticz on your nas:

http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta/ or http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable/

Maybe this will solve the problems you have.

I think this topic fits better in http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=44 because the main issue is a rfxcom protocol.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the tip Martijn and Egregius, I did use that repo and I'll add the info about the "Nice" product on the rfxcom protocols page.

I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I've added some new things.
