possebilty present wind meter log on 'floorplan'

Post by hendrik6073 »

i am searching for a way to show the wind speeds / angle's on a map, is that possible?
in my garden there a few object that are vulnerable for heavy wind, I would like to draw the log on a map to make possible problems clear in a split second

thanks

Have you made the windmeter available to the dashboard? Then it shows there.
Same for Floorplan. Define/Create floorplan, add devices etcetera...

However, if its that important to be "alerted", maybe better to look into Notifications by email/pushbullit or other(s) already implemented.

Then you can define the so called thresholds Windspeed above 5m/s or Gust 7m/s.

Also you need to be sure that your windmeter represents the "actual" speed and direction which brings or causes trouble in your garden.

For example mine is located 300feet behind my house above the garage at the end of my garden. Speed and direction are different then the one's measured at the side borders.

Grtz,
Stephan
