HomeEasy GE889, wirining issue.

Post by axelbaas »

Just recived my HomeEasy HE889, and tried to install it. The most simple part was to connect it in Domoticz, using RFLINK.
But the sunscreen is not closing or opening, so i guess there is somting wrong with the wiring. I hope someone here can help me out.

My old switch is wired like in the attached PDF.
For the HE899 is used http://s.s-bol.com/imgbase0/imagebase3/ ... 241258.pdf

As far is i can see, is the old switch is switching on the brown wire ( fase / phase ). And if i understand the manual from the HE889 well, it is switching with the ' blue' wire ( nul / neutral ).
So, is the combination with my sunscreen an the HE889 possible? And how to get it to work?

I hope someone tried it before, and can help me!

Axelbaas,

With respect to the motor cable: If you are not sure if black or brown is open or close
Use your old switch to put the sunscreen in a half open/closed position.
1) If you have a meter (or spanningzoeker) measure what direction is what color.

Keep the screen half way.
Connect the new switch:
- blue (from mains) on N
- brown (from mains) on L
- interconnect L and C
Depending on 1) :
- brown (from motor) on B
- black (from motor) on A
or the other way around
- blue (from mains) on blue (from motor)
If the screen is half way there must be an action in one direction or the other

Hope this helps

Got it. Had to combine the two blue and brown wires together. Now it is working!
Thanks!
