Fibaro FGMS-001 and FGSD-002 as Lighting 2

Post by andyman »

Hi.

I have bought myself a Razberry and some Fibaro devices, Smokesensors and Motion sensor. I am able to attach them, but all the sensor they have shows up at Lighting 2 in Domoticz. I have tried on version 2.3530 and 2.4192 (latest beta). I have seen others that have the same innsues, but the posts are old.

Do anyone have any ideas?

As seen on attached picture of log I am using standard Domoticz-RPI image and Open z-wave without any modification.

These Fibaro devices can be very slow in sending and updating their devices without some help.
Have you triple clicked the B-button so the LED glows blue?
Many users (i.e. me) also change these nodes' configurations to make their report intervals more frequent, and report thresholds lower.
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro, Horstmann, Neo Coolcam, EUROtronic
RFlink - IR detectors and temperatures
Wifi - YeeLights, ESP32s, Anoop sockets
Zigbee - lots with zigbee2mqtt and ZbBridge

Ok, thanks for your quick reply. After posting, the Lux monitor showed up as Lux / Lux with value, but i have tried to trigger the smokealarm, but it has not changed devicetype in domoticz.

I tried z-wave.me image on my other Pi and it seemed to work in that software, but as far as i know Domoticz is a much better software solution. I have run Domoticz for several years, but only with rfxcom. I want the two way communication for my smoke sensors.

I will then wait a while and I hope the devices shows up correct (sensor=sensor and so on)
