Hello,
I got a great installation on Z-wave me with more than 50 units BUT I am scared of a system failure.
Is it possible to have a backup system of the network ? It seems that a Z-Wave.me system is able to backup and restore the network. The software is called z-way server.
Please please please. This is probably the only risk of failure I have now in my network...

Hi,
I'm not too sure that the backup capability of Domoticz also covers the "hardware" part, considering that known nodes and network is actually data on the USB controller itself.
Please see this thread.

What I did is to get a secondary (actually now have three) controller to replicate the network info when it changes. No matter what happens to the first, the second can take over. The more, the better, for coverage and safety.
