Qubino ZMNHDD1 noob

Post by nickgosling »

I seem to be going round and round in circles. Can some one tell me how to setup this device qubino ZMNHDD1 using a aeotec z stick 5. I can see the light in the devices when I plug the USB stick back in. But there are about 13 other things discovered. What are they. I would like to get the i2 and i3 push buttons working too and no matter how many times I press the buttons none of the statuses change so I am lost.

Basically I would like the dimmer to work and the i2 and i3 buttons to work. Various posts seem to suggest that it is possible but bringing it all together is difficult.

Help

For my ZMNHDA1 dimmers I have 3 Lightning devices. Id's ending with 00, 01 and 02.
01 is used for the Q1 output. So I would think 00 and 02 are used for I2 and I3.
Can't test here, don't have switches connected to them.

There should only be around 5 devices.
You should exclude the node and remove all the devices and then include the node again.

Also make sure the configuration settings in the ZWave panel are according to the type of switch you have connected to the dimmer (on/off or pulse/push).

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. Egregious, I think that is for the old qubino dimmer and they work as they should.

I managed, after some monumental frustration to sort it.

I set the i2 input to be a binary sensor ( parameter 100 = 9 )

I then associated group 5 with the primary controller and it solved the problem.

There are still a ridiculous amount of nodes detected but most of them do nothing important.

Anyway. I now have a button for the light and a scene button next to it that I can assign to anything. That's all I wanted.

I hope this helps someone. I've been using VERA with this this dimmer and it still doesn't work correctly. It has been complicated to set up from the start but at lease domoticz has a way to solve the problem.
