Can't include devices anymore
I got my Domoticz (2.4017) running on a Synology DS713 for over a year now.
I use RFXCom, OTGW and a Zwave.me.
And the Zwave gives me a headache now: I can't add devices anymore.
I use a Aeon HEM, Fibaro MultiSensor (4in1), and I bought a Greenwave Powernode 6.
I included the powernode, it worked, but I missed 1 device, so I excluded the devices and tried to include in again.
No luck, no matter what I try it will not include.
OK, mhhhh.
Left it alone for 2 days, tried again still nothing. But then my HEM was missing and an hour later the Fibaro.
No matter what I try, I can't include any device.
I know the devices works fine (tried them on the system of a friend of mine), same with the controller.
I restored an older database, no luck.
Then I removed the Zwave from the system and put my old Aeon Labs USB adapter (Zwave version).
Domoticz finds the Aeon, got it working, but again I can't include devices.
In the logfiles:

HELP!!!!
I don't know what to do anymore.
Thanks

Re: Can't include devices anymore
Are you sure the device you wan't to include were first excluded?
A device can only be included in one network. To add it to another stick you have to exclude them first.

Re: Can't include devices anymore
I don't know about the power node if I excluded him first.
But the HEM I excluded first.
But can I check this?
Or can I exclude it now? I tried it, but nothing happened except the LEDs blinking 'no network'

Re: Can't include devices anymore
You can try to exclude.
Maybe use the exclusion mode from the stick? Unplug the stick, press the button 3 seconds until it flashes rapidly.
Learned yesterday that exclusion/inclusion works lot better with the stick than from domoticz (ex-/included all my nodes for a fresh install)

But the Wave.me stick is in controle now. Not the Aeon.
And the Zwave doesn't have an exclude button

Re: Can't include devices anymore
I presume you already rebooted the system?
Other than that I don't have any advice left.
Hopefully someone else can help you.

Re: Can't include devices anymore
Ofter hard reset of controllor you still have to exclude before you include if you didn't do that before.

What did I do:
But I'm a bit happy now.
Why this works now???? Don't know

Re: Can't include devices anymore
I learned that Domoticz sometimes doesn't follow the exclude/include commands anymore.
Don't know in what case yet but it seems that when you choose exclude/include multiple times it sometimes hangs. That was the main reason I asked if you rebooted already.
Also I think it's best to wait for al nodes to be queried after reboot. Whit only 3 nodes that shouldn't take long. In my case that takes up to 10 minutes...

Re: Can't include devices anymore
For that reason I rebooted every now and then the system.
What I didn't do was wait for 10 minutes or so, but when I saw the controller 'online' I started.
Perhaps this was the case, but......

Re: Can't include devices anymore
Hi, I am new to Domoticz and can't "include" or "Receive information from other controller". I think I have everything in place. I am well known and familiar with Vera (started with Vera 1 with UI2).
I have: A synology NAS running the Domoticz package from jumbotroll (V2.4020) and succesfully have a "zwave plus" USB dongle from WD (smart home stick) running as device 001 with "OpenZWave USB
Version: 1.3-614-gadf3467" (same as original poster!). Controller status is "green".
Now when I try to include a node the message "Including ZWave Node - Press the include button on your device..." runs forever and nothing happens when adding a device (in this case a Fibaro motionsensor). Also when I want the Domoticz to "receive configuartion from other controller" it does nothing...
I think everything is in place to do a succesfull inclusion... but why is this not working? And is it a coincidence I have the same problem as a newbie as the original poster? Could this be an OPen ZWave USB "bug/thing" in the latest update?
Thanks in advance.
Sander.

Re: Can't include devices anymore
No one recognizes this? I just had an update to Domoticz 2.4025 and hoped this was solved. But still I am not able to include a zwave node.

Re: Can't include devices anymore
It seems this forum is pretty not-alive. Or is this a too hard qustion or exotic setup? Install Domoticz on a NAS and insert a USB OpenZwave stick?

Re: Can't include devices anymore
Hi,
If you don't have any devices connected to Zwave, do a hardware reset, reset of the fibaro ,reboot NAS include fibaro.
This solves my problem

Re: Can't include devices anymore
Rodio, Draggho, thanks for reply. both suggestions didnt and dont work (already tried).
I can succesfully reach htt:ipaddress:8084/ozwcp/cp.html nd see the zwave controller. But I cant include, exclude, nothing... log stays empty, can click the controller to change from pink to purple... It seems alive but is dead.
