Using Fibaro RGBW module for on color only as a Dimmer

Post by Stephan »

Hi all,

Since a few days I have Domoticz in combination with Fibaro modules in our new house.
I've been looking around how to configure the modules and had a great help by reading this forum.
But for one of the modules I use is the Fibaro RGBW module which I use only for a white led strip. I wanted to use only one of the channels and not the colour wheel.
When a switch is added automatically to Domoticz the colour wheel is used as switch. If you only need one of the dimmers or want to use them separately you can add them one by one.
- Go to Setup --> Devices
- Select from the Fibaro RGBW a "Level" switch belonging to the RGWB module (see the ID number in column) and click on the Add switch button (the green arrow at the end of the line)
- Name it like you want
- Now you have new dimmer in the switch tab for one channel of the dimmer.
- Try until you have the right channel (This part I will elaborate on).

Now you can enjoy every channel separate :)
