These work well for me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Extra-Sensor- ... XQUmFSjAJ6
Running Domoticz on Pi3 with RFXtrx433e. LWRF power sockets and dimmer switches. Integrated my existing wirefree alarm PIRs and door contacts with domoticz. Geofencing with Pilot. Harmony Hub. Tado for Heating. Now playing with mysensors.

You asked for a cheap sensor. Z-Wave in general is much more expensiveTazDevl wrote:Nice, but which to choose for just zwave?

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
Mine were inaccurate by a few degrees but as long as you have a reliable thermometer to test them against, you can easily make an adjustment in Domoticz. I have them everywhere. One in my vivarium is set to alert me if the temperature drops too low and successfully informed me that a heat lamp had blown whilst we were on holiday once. Well worth the £7Evelen wrote:bought twomarkk wrote:These work well for me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Extra-Sensor- ... XQUmFSjAJ6

Readings show slightly lower than normal human body temperature. If you were sitting on them at the time they seem to be working really well

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
dont forget that this is celsius
PS: I tried to put one in the refrigerator and it turned colder, also I tried to take a shower and the humidity increased.
So pretty sure it's just a calibration I need.

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
I received 4 sensors last week, which look really the same (with Imagintronix printed on the front) . The model is wh-5. Behavior is the same, roughly 40 degrees to high. Humidity looks alright though.
Today I've tried new beta firmware (version 249) for thr RFXtrx433-ext, but no improvement.
Maybe this link can help (looks the same device): https://www.pitt-pladdy.com/blog/_20131 ... for_WH1400_

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
If it helps, I have 6 of these running with Domoticz for over a year now. The 40°C correction is easily made and I have checked against a calibrated sensor. They work really well.

I've bought a cheap temperature sensor from Ebay and can confirm that it is compatible with Domoticz.

anyone else have problems with WT1285 if it is outside in cold wather?
I have 7 sensor in the house, works 100%.
But the outside sensor stopps working and I dont see it in 8-15 hours, and than it respond again and so on.
when i put it in the house it works fine.
Temp: around -3 - 8 celcius

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
Hi
I received one of these devices today (along with my RFXtrx433E). The RFXtrx433E is up and running (connected to a couple of LightwaveRF devices and my Energenie plug sockets) but I cannot get it to pair with the themometer. It's a WH5 device as shown below, I've put the batteries in and enabled the FineOffSet/Viking protocol, am running the latest firmware (1007) and have put the device right next to the RFXtrx433E but it will not pair.
What am I missing?

Is this sensor in the supported devices list? Please see chapter 2 in the RFXtrx User Guide.

Re: Cheap humidity/Thermometer sensor?
Did you get this working? I have ordered one and on the latest 1007 firmware and can't seem to get the WH5 to be recognised.
