Hi warp,

I'm new to the forum, then I m just seeing your question.

For ventilation (VMC), I use a zwave device : Popp / Duwi ZW ESJ Blind Control. The speed 1 is connected to the down and the speed 2 to the Up. This works fine when I push the button directly on the device, but I'm unable for now to control the up and down from Domoticz. Domoticz seems to not correctly handle this device: it see the control as a dimmer, not a blind control.

If you purchase a device fully recognised by openzwave, you should be able to control your VMC.

Well, I finally found the correct configuration (things could seem obvious for most of the people but I'm discovering Domoticz :-).

* Select the device type to On/Off in Domoticz
* Set the running time to 0 in the zwave device configuration.
* Set Ignore Start Level to Off (OpenZwave Control Panel / Information tab)

Then, setting the device to "Off" in the Domoticz GUI starts the VMC at low speed.
"On" sets the high speed.

The draw back is you can't set easily the VMC off from the Domoticz GUI.
