Domoticz and remote in parallel

Most of my lightning is defined as Lightning 2, AC ( RFXTRX ).
Questions :
1. A dimmer status gets updated in Domoticz, when the original remote is used ( the one Domoticz learned the command from )
A On/Off switch does not have the same functionality, i.e. the Domoticz status for these devices is sometimes incorrect and one need two clicks to get it to work.
Is this be design ?

2. A On/Off switch is working as toggle. Is there a device which has 2 icons, one for On and one for Off ?
Scenes seem to be similar : I need to define a scene for On, and another for Off. Could I combine these 2 in one ?

Maybe I can answer 1) - you didn't say what your lighting technology is - but this answer is based on lightwaverf - it likely applies to any system where there are receivers and transmitters

The remote is a transmitter - Domoticz hears the remote signal (the same as the light switch does) - so it knows it was pressed and it knows what the state to display is. The light switch is a receiver - it listens to the remote and it also has local control - the buttons on the unit tell it what to do but it does not send that information out - so there is nothing for Domoticz to hear - its not really "by design" - its more "thats the way it works"

On 2) - I *think* you can get around this by setting the light (or lights) in a group - the domoticz ui gives you an off and an on button for a group - not ideal but it saves a click - suggest you try this to see if it gives you what you want.
