I have an issue while using the device in blocky:

status on switches page:
SB Frontpage

SBFrontP.JPG (15.93 KiB) Viewed 3102 times
Status in blocky
Blocky State

SBBlocky.JPG (20.23 KiB) Viewed 3102 times
Tried it a couple of times and it only seems to happen when I use my remote (or LMS website, power button). The status is updated on the switches page but not in blocky. When switching from the domoticz web page things work fine
I use this to detect if someone is in my living, i used my own crontabbed script before but prefer this much nicer solution

edit: the song title is just the first artist / song in my library, nothing offensive meant here... :)

This is nice!!!!

My Boom is not yet supported, but all my radio's are, well done.

Direct started to experiment with notifications. However, the only notification which is working for me is the "On" action. Should the other options also work? They look quite specific already.

Keep up the good work!

Seem that Yes it is when using user:pwd@serverip as the connection address. Is there some reason it recognizes only SB Radio and not e.g. SB Duet and SB Controller? Is there something I could do / help with in order to have these added? :)

Hey,

I think there should be a message in your logfile which device it detected and that it is not supported. If you paste that logging here, i bet Eduard can help you further with it.

Else, in a few posts before, there is a json-url that gives the device name of your devices, (i did it for my Radio's en touch).
If you can provide that, i think Eduard will find that usefull for adding support for your devices.

Hi,
At the moment very busy so i don't have enough time to develop on a daily basis :cry:

I am/was working on 1) adding notifications to the lms-players (almost working) and 2) use lms-players as notification devices (send messages to the lms-display -> already working ;)
It is not ready beta-proof so i want to finish it before letting you test it

The domotcz/master version has one bug which i'm not able to fix right now:
After switching on a player and play a song, the device shows artist & title as expected. But if i switch a normal switch, the status of this switch also shows the same artist & title :oops:
Can anyone help me debug this?

Thnx!

Correct, it shows unsupported devicetypes in the log, but only once at startup. So if you missed that logline, disable and enable the Logitech Media Server in the Hardware-settings

Sure, no hurry with these but would be nice to get them added at some point :) The result of the json:

Code: Select all

"model":"baby","name":"Squeezebox Radio","uuid":"fb465ce4242c52f11ede9484303dd852","isplayer":1,"canpoweroff":1,"power":0}
"model":"receiver","name":"Squeezebox Duet","uuid":"2bff5f6f5828b3849fbd864aafbf364f","isplayer":1,"canpoweroff":1,"power":0}
"model":"iPengiPod","name":"AO_iPhone6","uuid":"9bac6d1e66db5fae8c47170255c39417","isplayer":1,"canpoweroff":1,"power":0}
this is still missing the Duet controller which is a separate player but it is in the bedroom and apparently offline. From the earlier post I suspect the model is "controller". Is there some other information that would still be needed?

Edit: log has now:

Code: Select all

2015-10-03 07:47:00.427 Error: Logitech Media Server: model 'controller' not supported.
2015-10-03 07:47:00.427 Error: Logitech Media Server: model 'receiver' not supported.

Hi

I'm diving into the interesting world of adding a LMS to domoticz.
The LMS is running, I can use squeeze play and squeezelite as players.

they do however not show up in the devices of my LMS in domoticz.
Do I still need to run a script for that? (perhaps scheduled?)

Cheers

Is 'accept new hardware' enabled in Settings?

Thanks

Yes. What players do you have? Maybe they are not supported yet.

Current supported players are: Squeezebox 1, Squeezebox 2, Squeezebox 3, Transporter, Squeezebox Radio, Squeezebox Touch & Max2Play SqueezePlug

New version will also support Squeezebox Receiver & Squeezebox Controller

Found it! Fixed in new beta...

Also enabled support for Controller & Receiver. Please let me know if it works for those devices...

If you are able to compile from source, you could change line 331 of LogitechMediaServer.cpp to enable support for your device.

Maybe i should enable all devicestypes although i'm not sure if they al work :? (I don't own them all to test)

I just created a pull-request with support for Boom & SqueezePlay. Should be available in next beta...
