[513] Google Nest Protect (Smoke + CO sensor) support
It would be really nice if the Google Nest Protect can be supported in Domoticz. (Not to be mistaken with the Google Nest Thermostat. The request for the Google Nest Thermostat can be found here: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6077)
- Read status of Protect in Domoticz so interaction with LUA/Blocky events are possible. E.g. Open curtains/roller shutters and turn lights on when alarm goes off.
Maybe it even is possible to use the PIR's of the protect to be used with other actuators etc.
The link to the tracker can be found here:

Re: [513] Google Nest Protect (Smoke + CO sensor) support
Did some searching and I found the code for the Nest thermostat & Protect plugin for the Vera controller. Does anyone know if this is easy adjustable to work with Domoticz?

Same question, has support been implemented yet for Nest Protect?
Would love to see that next to the Thermostat.

I'm planning to replace my current smoke sensors because they are over 10 years old, so this would be a great feature!

Doesn't work (at least not for me). I only use Nest Protect, not the thermostat.. Could that be the cause? You need to use your email as login and password from home.nest.com

Re: [513] Google Nest Protect (Smoke + CO sensor) support
Which readouts are possible with Domoticz from the Nest Protect? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
For example, is it possible to readout the current CO-level in ppm with Domoticz?

This is whats supported by the API
https://developer.nest.com/documentatio ... rms-object
But Domoticz only shows a switch, which is alway off. even when there is smoke.

Re: [513] Google Nest Protect (Smoke + CO sensor) support
Hello,
Is it normal that the Nest Protect switch type is set to "Lighting 2, AC, Smoke Detector"?
Also, does it make a difference between a CO alert and a Smoke alert?
Thanks and happy new year!
