I added the line to the xml file as IDavid stated.Gettingthere wrote:Just wondering... How did ye include yer sensor? Because I see your hardware is yer Motherboard, and mine is my Z-Stick. Also I don't recognize the 'burglar' switch...
Then i entered inclusion mode:

and pressed the button on the Aeon 3 times.
Now i have the following devices:

Thanks!gizmocuz wrote:latest beta is using the security branch now, hope its working

Seems to work with 2418 as well, with the security branch I pulled from OZW.
Good to see it's in Domoticz native though, so I can skip a few copy/edit statements with future updates.

I'm a but confused about the device-list though. Device #31 (in my setup) seems to be the viable motion sensor. I'd already renamed it so I don't know what name it had when it was detected. Device #29 and #30 get updated too and #32 seems to remain ON. Device #21 showed up when I pressed the include button on the multisensor but doesn't seem to get updates thereafter.
Is this by design or do I need to upgrade to latest trunk to get it wright?

New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwave ?
Nothing changed besides the security branch.... Something not working anymore?

It does seem to work OK, I just found it odd that the device IDs I mentioned show up and don't get any update (not seen in Domoticz thereafter) or remain ON or OFF all the time. Wondered if that is by design with this multisensor.

Unfortunately i do not know this sensor, but can you tell if you receive all possible sensors from it, and that they are updating?
(could be some time before some of them update , this so the battery lasts 2 years)
- PIR
- Temp
- Humidity
- Light

Just updated to version 2427 :Doume wrote:OK, thanks, I'll try soon
Now, the Zwave network seems to be handled in a better way (it doesn't stay anymore in 'red' state )
The Siren Aeon G5 seems to be 'seen' correctly (The 'panic' state has been resetted) , but I can't modify the specific parameters of the siren ( volume, sound type, and so on)
A big step forward, for sure....

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
I do have those, which get regular updates. The sensor is receiving power from mains via an USB-power-adapter and I've setup the sensor to send updates every 5 minutes. The PIR sends an ON when it is off and montion is detected and sends an OFF when it was on and hasn't seen motion within the timeout that's set for that (240 seconds).gizmocuz wrote: - PIR

Besides these devices OZW sees several other devices that I don't know off. Two literally are called 'Unknown', another 'Level', with a green arrow behind them indicating I can add them to Domoticz.
They are shown in the screenshot I posted above too (IDs 21, 27 and 35). The ones that get updated regularly have the time stamp highlighted.
The device with ID 31 still is ON (and gets updated), but I've no what it's for either.

You may see that the sensor seems not to be correctly included since Domoticz (V2.2563) considers it as "Aeotec Unknown: type=0002, id=0064".
What should I do?

You'll probably have to upgrade Domoticz
Support for the sensor is in the more recent versions. Dunno if it is in the beta binary for RPi.

and in /home/pi/domoticz/Config/aeotec I see file multisensor_gen5.xml<Product type="0002" id="004a" name="Multi Sensor Gen5" config="aeotec/multisensor_gen5.xml"/>

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
You mentioned you have a Multisensor 6. In my manufacturer_specific.xml this show up:
First line seems to match... I guess you'll have to upgrade Domoticz.<Product type="0002" id="0064" name="MultiSensor 6" config="aeotec/multisensor6.xml" />
<Product type="0102" id="0064" name="MultiSensor 6" config="aeotec/multisensor6.xml" />
<Product type="0202" id="0064" name="MultiSensor 6" config="aeotec/multisensor6.xml" />

That's probably the latest stable. If you want Domoticz support for your sensor you'll have to compile the latest beta your self/use the latest beta binary. It's described in the wiki.

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Hi
I did few trials to overcome the issue but I had no success.
Among the various actions done I mention the repeated exclusions from the system of Aeotec Multisensor6 ZW100-C, that from now on I will call MultisensorGen5, followed by three inclusions.
Domoticz has never recognized properly MultisensorGen5 and has always included as "Unknown Aeotec: type = 0002, id = 0064" even if in file was /home/pi/domoticz/Config/manufacturer_specific.xml I found the following line in the "<Manufacturer id =" 0086 "name =" Aeotec ">"
and in /home/pi/domoticz/Config/aeotec file multisensor_gen5.xml was there.
It may perhaps be useful to inform that as a result of the three inclusions, Domoticz generated
8 devices in the first,
5 devices in the second,
7 devices in the third.
(if useful I can report on the various devices generated)
My understanding is that even if Domoticz has good data to use, it did not do as supposed. Why?
Is there a possibility to force Domoticz to use the right file to configure the MultisensorGen5?

Are you sure? id=004a != id=0064...My understanding is that even if Domoticz has good data to use, it did not do as supposed.
Upgrade? Is there a possibility to force Domoticz to use the right file to configure the MultisensorGen5?

You could try to pull the specific config files from OZW-git. See if that 'll suffice.

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
what about making an image of your current install. Switch Domoticz to beta channel, update , exclude, and include again. Latest gen5 can require latest openzwave lib.
When this does not work, restore the original image
