It al works fine over here.
No crashes, normal readings and no white screen anymore.
I suggest you should uninstall the app and then perform a new, clean install.
This might solve this i hope.

Still crashes on weather and white screen is still there if you switch from switches to utilities, for example, and hit the back button.bdormael wrote:Same issues after fresh install as mentioned 5 posts backRon wrote:It al works fine over here.

The Dromotica app is forced closed when I tap on the weather tab.
I reinstalled several times. But no luck.
Is it a bug?
HTC one
And nexus 7 2013

God morning,
No crash for me (but I think it is normal since I do not have set up anything in the Weather tab)
Everything works fine on my Samsung Galaxy S5 running on Lollipop 5.0
Great job!
The only point appears on the Dashboard : I can not see the whole icon for the last element in the list.

Re: 'Dromotica' app for controlling Domoticz from Android
nGood morning,
I have installed the version v2362 of Domoticz and plugged a second transceiver on my NAS
I can control my SOMFY Blinds through a RFXTRX433E module and a Fibaro through a Aeon Labs ZStick.
Now Dromotica does not work anymore on all my devices :
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy Tab2 (no no I m not Samsung addicted lol) I do not know if it could be related to the fact I have configured many hardwares on Domoticz : Or if it is due to my Domoticz version...
Anyone would have a clue?
Thanks

If the credentials or connection settings are wrong, you also get this.Schim57300 wrote:nGood morning,

Thanks for your help ^^
I do not understand. I have uninstalled the app on all my devices.
Once reinstalled and reconfigured, everything work
I'm sure I did not change anything except updating users' passwords on Domoticz web interface.

RGB settings in app?
Let me start by saying that I really appreciate the efforts put into this Android app!
Now my question:
Is it possible to configure my RGBW lights (zipato) through the Dromotica app? With configuring I mean changing the colors besides turning them on/off and changing intensity.
Thanks!

Re: 'Dromotica' app for controlling Domoticz from Android
May I suggest a few improvements?
As a new user I was surprised that in the 'settings' page the requested information is not visible, for user name, password, IP address etc, but only when you click on the item. It would be nice to see the current values, much easier for debugging
When I type the Domoticz password, the password text is visible. Although I have read that the password is sent over http as plain text, I still would like to keep my pw secret for anybody playing with my phone. I Would like to see the dots for each letter.
The connection via the home network fails 1 in 3 times. After opening/closing some preferences, the connection all of a sudden is there.
Today I tried for the first time to connect abroad through my forwarded port on my home router. It first worked OK, but later it was not able to connect. 3 hours later I touched my phone again and it was bloody hot. I found out that Dromotica had used 550Mb of data in these 3 hours! With the 50Mb data plan that my company has for my phone, I probably will meet an unhappy book keeper at the end of the month I will for sure set a data limit now, but it should have never happened in the first place of course.
