Hi,
I am aware of the changes in the solaredge API per yesterday. But I am not sure if what I see now is all there is, and if I can optimize some things.
I have a fairly old inverter, so Modbus is a no-go for me.
I run domo 2026.4 on a Rpi also connected to a P1 cable. I have enabled solaredge hardware via "solaredge via WEB API", filled in my siteID, username and password (it's the same as what I use to login to the website op SolarEdge). (Old) API key is till filled in, I have just enabled the 'poll optimizers' option.
Today I see in the energy dashboard current flow to/from the grid, but no totals for the Solar part.
Also, in my floorplan I added some metrics; here I can see temp, frequency and voltages of the inverter, but no actual W or KWh (as was present before).
In the "devices" overview I saw all optimizers showing up after enabling that option, but all my old devices did not update since yesterday 18.09.
Is there anything I can change/do so I get my 'old' info back (especially current W and daily KWh) ? Again, ModBus is no option.
Help and explanation is welcome!

Luckily, I am able to use modbus with my SolarEdge inverter from 2025. If everything fails to get back your data via the API, you can consider to establish an energy meter for the inverter. I have a "Shelly 3EM" and get current power in Domoticz. And the daily/monthly/yearly energy is calculated by the Domoticz device (instant + counter).rolfb wrote: Wednesday 04 November 2026 15:08

Or, if your Inverter is a one-phase model, you can use a smart plug with built in energy meter. I use a Tasmota based smart plug for my second solar system, which is a ready to use plug and play small inverter (Hoymiles 800 Watt).
Stop, look and listen.

Re: solaredge: looking for info / help
thx for the tips.
However they highlight alternative solutions, and I am not that far (yet).
My question is: is what I see now, the maximum I can get from domo/solaredge with the new API?
