Hello, all
I have been running Domoticz linked to my smart meter for many years. I now have a Marstek battery that I can also view in Domoticz via a plugin, but it isn't receiving data from the smart meter.
Is there a way to use the power data from Domoticz so that I don't have to use a P1 CT003?
Since the power data is already being sent to Domoticz, surely the Marstek battery can use it?
Marstek Venus E 3 get's data from domoticz?

Not possible as far as I know as Domoticz is reading the telegram from the P1 and is not able to forward the telegram.
You can perhaps let Domoticz decide what the Marstek charge/uncharge policy is with scripting.
Or install a P1 splitter at the smart meter and have 1 string going to domoticz and the other to Marstek.

Even if you install a splitter, you will still need a P1 meter that can be read by Marstek, either Marstek's own or a Homewizard P1.

Re: Marstek Venus E 3 get's data from domoticz?
I ended up solving this by splitting the P1 data stream.
A small Python script reads the hardware P1 serial port and forwards the telegrams unchanged to a virtual serial device. Domoticz reads that virtual port exactly as if it were connected directly to the meter.
The script also extracts the current load and stores it as a signed integer in a text file. AstraMeter simply reads that file (using cat), which gives it an updated load value every second with no noticeable delay.
This has been running for about two weeks now without any issues for either Domoticz or AstraMeter.
If all goes well, my Marstek Venus 3.0 should arrive next week and I'll finally be able to test the complete setup in practice.
