Hi,
I have create a plugin for the LG thinq SDK API. This works for most LG devices however the plugin only supports the Airco units for now.
It can be found on https://github.com/avriessen/domoticz_l ... ect_plugin.
This work is largely based on the existing plugin for the LG airco.
All I did was remove the wideq part and use the thinqconnect python library.
So far I have only tested it with my own Airco. I have a split unit with 3 indoor units.
The reason for creating this plugin is that the existing plugin didn't work any more.
Feel free to try it your self and leave any comment if this would be usefull for other.

Thank you very much for your contribution. Your plugin works great, even with my V1 air conditioner. Excellent work!avriessen wrote: Wednesday 29 April 2026 22:47 Hi,

Re: LG Airco with thinqconnect SDK iso wideq (which don't work anymore)
Very interesting! I used the old plugin but it stopped working a while ago.
Tried to install this new one but I keep struggling with the LG ID's.
I managed to create a Personal Access Token on the LG support side.
But I cannot generate or find the Thinq device ID.
Tried to investite via different ways...
How can I find out this Thinq device ID for my LG Airco system?

Fill LGThinq_PAT.txt with your PAT and conuntry, then run the get-device-list.py script.
