Hi,
I've created a new plugin to get the info and health status of a HP server with iLo
You can find the plugin over here : https://github.com/MadPatrick/domoticz_HP_ilo
Enjoy and feedback is welcome

Good to hear !!PosaDka wrote: Monday 18 May 2026 9:50 Nice work, iLO monitoring in Domoticz is something a lot of people have been wanting. Will give it a try and report back. Does it support iLO 4 and 5 or just one of them?
It should work with iLO 4, 5 & 6
Tested it with ilO 6 and 4, but 4 has less functionality
You can install the plugin multiple times if you have more servers
Please let me know it you have any other requirements of bugs

Re: Plugin : HP iLo monitor
I updated the Domoticz HP iLO plugin with several new Redfish/HPE management features.
Changes:
Removed the old direct Fan Speed Control device, because the individual fan Redfish resources are read-only on my iLO.
Replaced it with Minimum Fan Speed, which writes the supported HPE OEM Redfish field:
Oem/Hpe/FanPercentMinimum
Added Thermal Configuration as a selector menu with:Optimal Cooling
- Enhanced CPU Cooling
- Increased Cooling
- Maximum Cooling
- Smooth Cooling
Thermal Configuration writes:
Oem/Hpe/ThermalConfiguration
After changing Thermal Configuration, the plugin skips the immediate refresh because iLO may restart or temporarily stop responding.
Added Power Regulator as a selector menu with:
- Dynamic Power Savings Mode
- Static Low Power Mode
- Static High Performance Mode
- OS Control Mode
Power Regulator is handled through BIOS Redfish settings using: Attributes.PowerRegulator
Reused unit 4 as SSD Lifetime, showing SSD remaining lifetime in percent when Redfish exposes the value.
Added migration logic so old devices are cleaned up or recreated automatically:
- old unit 4 Fan Speed becomes SSD Lifetime
- old direct fan speed control is removed
Updated the README with the new devices, Redfish fields, and notes about iLO restart behavior.
Added the following devices:
- Unit 4: SSD Lifetime
- Unit 12: Minimum Fan Speed
- Unit 13: Thermal Configuration
- Unit 14: Power Regulator
