No Zigbee devices with MQTT setup Domoticz

I run a completely new setup in Docker. I setup Zigbee2MQTT, Mosquitto, Domoticz, Portainer. I use a slae.sh_cc2652rb_stick.
Domoticz is on port 8080 and Z2M on port 8081. I can pair new devices in Z2M and they are detected fine. The reason for a new setup was use of a new temperature device with a external probe, these were not detected by my older Domoticz setup (2025.1)

When I run mosquitto_sub -h 172.16.10.214 -t "zigbee2mqtt/Q10 temp" I can see data from this new device (and some others, have 4 in total on new setup) but " probe_temperature":70.8" is the one I need.

But when I go to Domoticz and setup MQTT Client Gateway with LAN interface, I don't see any devices. I only see 2 RPI Motherboard Sensors which I added to see some sensors/activity. Within the zigbee2mqtt/configuration.yaml home assistant is set to false. (but true does not change anything)

Also other RPI with native Domoticz (2025.01) do not see any Zigbee devices when pointing MQTT to the 172.10.16.214 IP

What is going wrong?

Homeassistant need to set on true
And use Mqtt auto discovery client gateway with lan interface

It would be nice to have an updated screenshot of the zigbee2MQTT webinterface where you enable the homeassistant integration. The current one in the wiki seems to be from a previous version of Zigbee2MQTT.

I set home assistant to " true" and now I see some more items.
But in MQTT AD client gateway with lan interface [SETUP] I see "only" 21 devices, and not the ones I need "Q10 Probe Temp" and "Q10 Boiler, switch"

As written in the wiki the devices appear in the normal device list (menu setup, devices). In the setup button in the MQTT AD hardware only the configuration devices are shown.

You should remove the MQTT gateway in Domoticz and use only the Mqtt auto discovery client gateway with lan.

I removed the MQTT gateway and I can see the wanted Zigbee in the Devices list. I don't exactly understand what you mean with "only the configuration devices are shown" ?

Good!
In the MQTT auto discovery gateway there is setup button but as explained in the wiki there are only configuration devices shown. So zigbee2mqtt devices related to zigbee nodes that can configure the node, eg time outs of PIR devices, calibration, single setpoints etc. These devices will not be changed a lot so are not created as a real Domoticz device.
