Remotes:
-HE332EU (small 3 Channel remote)
-HE300WEU (16 channel remote)
-HE850 (16 channel timer programmable remote with 4 different sending protocols)
HE850 sending packets with protocol 2 works flawlessly in the exact same RF environment with the exact same HomeEasy power switches as the other two remote types.
RFXComm 433EMC with RFXmngr is able to decode HE332EU and HE300WEU packets using protocol stack HomeEasy EU and AC.
However, it cannot decode any packets from HE850 which are decoded with no problem on the same old HE power switches that decode also HE332EU and HE300WEU packets. Also, no other protocol setting in RFXmngr captures/decodes the HE850 packets.
Switching to RAW mode it receives packets similar to the other remotes. I am not fluent in translating these into something meaningful. But I am wondering, how the codes of all 3 remotes are recognised by the old HE Power switches, but one of them is not recognized by RFXComm 433EMC with HomeEasy EU or AC mode.
You can find attached packet captures from all 3 remotes for their respective channels 1+2 For HE332EU und HE300WEU it captured HomeEasyEU/AC decoded values and RAW packets. For HE850 it only captured RAW stuff but does not decode anything.
For sending out packets to HE power sockets this is not an issue, since I can use suitable commands.
But I would also like to passively capture the current virtual state of the power sockets via listening to the commands sent from all remotes. If the programmable HE850 packets cannot be decoded by RFXCOM 433EMC and only be received in RAW mode, it makes it difficult to receive this in Domoticz or Home Assistant without listening to RAW traffic all the time
.I wonder if I have overlooked any options on RFXCOM 433EMC transceiver or if it is possible to adjust the embedded HomeEasy EU+AC protocol decoders to also integrate the attached RAW packets from HE850?
