Re: Low cost window/door sensor
How did you add them to the system (more than one?) View if they are visible unther unused devices and click the arrow to add it, or learn mode? One of my switches has a 10 sec off-delay. Should be good right?

I bought set of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/W/181629193062.
Not bad price for sensor sendig both on and off correct way. The same sensor with nexa branding is three times more expensive here.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
I have only doorcontact. I added it with the 'Learn' mode. Be sure to have 'Lighting4' enabled at the RFXCOM settings (Hardware > find RFXCOM in list, click 'Set mode'). ARC can't be enabled at the same time, so it can be you have to deselect that one.Dountill wrote:How did you add them to the system (more than one?) And be sure to have the 'Accept new hardware' setting enabled under 'Application settings'.
Nice, but seller is only shipping inside UKpj-r wrote:I bought set of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/W/181629193062.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Hmmm that is quite expensive compared to alternatives here in NL. I see the HE852 costs €9,99 here. Or the KlikAanKlikUit AMST-606 for €15. But i am not sure the AMST-606 can be used, i thought i read somehwere that they send a burst signal, and thus block the 433Mhz band temporarily.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
It's correct that AC sensors (HomeEasy,Chacon,KlikAanKlikUit,NEXA...) send a burst signal so it's not recommended to use as door/window and motion sensors: http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=7337ThinkPad wrote:But i am not sure the AMST-606 can be used, i thought i read somehwere that they send a burst signal, and thus block the 433Mhz band temporarily.
BTW, my battery just died today after using this low cost sensor as my front door contact. I think the battery need to be replaced in 3-4 months

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
As a last resort i tried to clean them with some cleaning alcohol. Guess what. Got them working!Dountill wrote:I tried to add another door contact (next to my excisting one). I have to set an other code right? My first one got jumper set on H1, second one on H3. They both showed up in Domoticz. The first one doesn't work all the time, the second one doesnt work at all. I added a 10s off-delay (both sending out "on" signal) tried new batterys etc. Any ideas?

Everything. Just took an old toothbrush and cleared the whole print. Chip not included.ThinkPad wrote:What did you clean? The jumper pins?

Hi nmaster,
What are the jumper settings for this cheap smoke detector http://nl.aliexpress.com/item/433MHz-31 ... dVersion=2
There is jumper to set 1.5 / 3.3 / 4.7 M you said but I cannot find it, do you a picture of the jumper settings?

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Did you get the 433Mhz version? The 315Mhz version is useless with the RFXCOM, as the RFXCOM works at 433Mhz.brommetje wrote:Hi nmaster,

Nope, don't think so, but it isn't low cost even.p e t e r wrote:Is the X10 DS90 with a on/off suitable for outdoor use ?
But it has a connection for a extra wired contact. Place DS90 indoor and extra contact outdoor?

The PCB doesn't have those jumper pins. Solder middle pads together should work.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Does anyone know how i can use one of these cheap doorcontacts from Banggood to do this: http://td-er.nl/2014/05/12/bestaande-en-kaku-deurbel/
I opened the doorcontact, and mine uses a PT2264 chip. I looked up the [url=http://www.princeton.com.tw/Portals/0/P ... 2264_1.pdf]datasheet[/], and if pin 5 (TE, "Tranmission Enable") is connected to GND, it should transmit.
But nothing is happening....
The reedswitch is normally closed (NC). It breaks the circuit when the magnet is removed. Would be better if it would be normally open (NO), it would be easier to tap in with an optocoupler.
Edit: I think i will leave the doorcontact for now, and solve it by using one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-Clonin ... 1468459963
I already read that someone was using a remote like that with Domoticz (counting the flushes of a toilet, by connecting reedswitches to the buttons).
By the way, if i look at this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Ceilin ... 1365891287 there could be a chance that it would work. Components inside look the same as the PIR i already have. It also has 3M3 jumper, and code jumpers. 360 degree would be better to mount to the ceiling in my hallway or something. Only the price is a downside. Maybe someone else can find a cheaper one? Maybe i am not using the best search words.....
Edit2: Found a cheaper one: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/9V-batte ... 52701.html
That one will certainly work, i see the PT2264 chip, which is also in the PIR i now have, and that works with Domoticz

I have receive my PIR and door contact . I have already lighting4 device (TCR02-2) so they are detected in lighting4 and send only ON command.
PIR works fine but door contact not send command every time, I check this.
