RFXMeter Counter water

Post by epik77 »

Hi,

After the 2026 update, the total meter reading in m3 disappeared.
I use this device to synchronize it with a flow meter and my home meter. The daily meter reading in liters is fine, but the total in liters is too high to print, even on a Dashticz dial (18120778 liters).
Creating a meter device script to convert liters to m3 is a useless workaround.
Do you know if a fix is planned for the next beta?
Thanks

You say the total liters is fine.

And the image says 'Consumo Totale' which is the total liters

1.812.078,000 is way to much.

Is it displayed correctly when you use the normal default dashboard?

The value is correct.

I aligned the physical meter with the domoticz counter device.
The problem is that in the previous version, it was converted (only the total) to m3.

1812078 * 0.001 = 1812.078 m3

This way, I aligned the physical meter with the home automation one,
and also the bills and consumption :-)

If you need it this weekend I'll downgrade to a test environment and provide you with the json version and the counter button.

thanks

Please try the default theme as this seems to be a custom theme (machinon?) and could not be up to date with current Domoticz stable.

Same problem with the default theme.
It's not just a graphics issue, but the total m3 is also missing from the device's JSON.

I managed to boot the previous version 2025.
Attached is the device's JSON and the graph (with the total expressed in m3).

Thank you for your time on this project.

The latest beta restored the total, but it's still in liters :-(
I need the total in m3 like in the previous version.

Thanks

In the latest beta it is displayed in m3 again

If you got time, could you please help to translate some missing Italian translations?

Of course, in my own small way, I try to contribute too.

Regarding the device, I can confirm that there are still problems. I've attached screenshots and JSON.
Thanks again for your time on this wonderful project :-)

same problem is described in this thread with lot's of data
It still exists in build 17698
the problem is not only a display problem.
the total in liters is also send out in liters when accessing the json api
so the total needs to be in m3(like it was) and displayed as m3(like it was)

thanks

thanks. just tested it and indeed everything fixed
watermeter is also sending out total in m3 through json.
thanks

@Gizmocuz
regarding the other double thread.
There are actually more than 2 threads started by different people regarding the total watermeter missing/not correct
they are both about the total meters missing but one also stated that the json value was missing/incorrect.
I added json info to prove that there was indeed a problem
Agreed we should stick to 1 thread but since different people started different discussions i felt the need to supply some info ;)
