"Off Delay" no longer works..

I've just updated my copy of domoticz.

Stupidly - i have no idea what version I had.

But I've updated to the latest version...

2025.2.16812


And i've noticed a device that used to work perfectly with an "off delay" of 1 second.

Now triggers for too long - and no longer works.

Do the backups know what version was installed.

As most of my zwave devices no longer work now either.

It would be easier for me to just go back to the older version.

When “off delay” worked, and all my zwave devices.

I use 2025.2 build 17121 and no issues. Not sure what you mean with off delay. I use the Off after some times. Zwave has had some issues in the past with updating (especcially when you previous version was very old). Did you try triggering all the devices manually?

And as stated in the update documentation....always make a backup befor updating. Not just the database but also the software.

Consider docker, makes everything so much easier.

For me Off delay just works in both 2025.2 stable (your version) and latest beta.
Zwave, do you use zwave-js-ui/MQTT or the old Openzwave integration?
Both should work still although it is advised to move to zwave-js-ui/MQTT as the Openzwave project is not updated for years....

I'm still using Openzwave, as up until now - it's all worked fine, and had a "if it aint broke, dont fix it" attitude.

I've got over 50 z-wave devices. and some of the in-wall relays would be a pain to get to and pair them up again.

For my "gate fob" - it needs to send the command - and stop it within 1 second.

Or the gate get's a continuous singal - and the gate doesnt know if it's opening/closing - it just shakes.

In the old version - a 1sec cut off here. let me control the gate.

Having this set for 1 second now - does not only send the command for 1 second.

This could be because it is set as a push on button, it only sends on, not off.

No - it's always worked exactly as shown before. Up until the latest domoticz update.

I've not changed anything - just updated it.

It's always been a push-button.

Do you see the Off statement from off delay in de device log (click on log button on device widget)? As I see it in my log. So Domoticz is setting the device Off (which should not work for a push button)
