I am happy to report that build 16988 seems to have solved the problem for me; I ran this for the past week Domoticz during which did not go down. Now updated to 16993. The Hue bridge (V2, white square) runs firmware 1.74.1974142030.

Kind regards,

Paul

I can confirm that the problem seems to have been solved (build 16990). Domoticz has been running stable for 8 days now without any crashes.

I have an old Philips HUE bridge (v1 round white) running fine on domoticz for over 10 years...
I installed a fresh raspberry PI with latest Domotiz in august 2025...
Today i accidentily upgraded Domoticz (check updates in stead of more options in menu), and now HUE hardware is no longer working ...

Can i downgrade Domoticz back to august version ????

Yes, during update it creates a full backup of your Domoticz environment. Restoring that backup should revert the Domoticz version https://wiki.domoticz.com/Raspberry_Pi# ... ect_update
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

today i got the mandatory hue bridge upgrade which you can not skip.

first upgraded to domoticz 17053
after i checked if everything was working i upgraded the hub to 1.75.1975104000

sofar everything working stable

UPDATE:SPOKE TO SOON.

it seems domoticz it getting sluggish
Also the triggers which devices generate to launch a script are sometimes missed.

i have has this with 3 different scripts.
the devices which need to launch a script change their value/setting but nothing happens.
no types and these scripts are running for years now.

if i would make an educated guess is that something(HUE V2 api) is slowing down things and is interfering with the dzvents triggering mechanism

do other people have noticed this
also there are still sometimes hue errors in the log that the hub is not available

i cn not rollback because i updated the hue hub ans rolling back will crash domoticz

UPDATE: i have rolled back to 16782 and everything is runing like before. no hue problems at all but i still havce the lastest FW

i think they fixed something in fw 1.75 because everything is runnning smooth on port 80
