Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022

Issue fixed with Netatmo, both query methods are now functional again. Everything is back to normal.

No it isn't:

Error: Netatmo Thuis: Invalid/no data received (refresh tokens)... HTTP/2 403

Still the same problem here too.

With beta 2025.1.

- Netatmo disable for more than 24h.
-New App and new Client ID and client secret…
- update and upgrade RPi.
- stop and start Domoticz…

so yesterday I did a restart of domoticz and like most of us, after restarting the loop occurred from "invalid data".
So then I stop this system as it is only for testing and today when I'm back home I start the system and tho Login works.

So it is my understanding that Netatmo only temporally blocks a app.

I deactivated Netatmo hardware for 48 hours. But still the 403 error.
I reset the netatmo client id and client secret. Still 403 error.
I did all new application from netatmo.
I did a combination of the above, but sadly same outcome.

Also, after login netatmo etc. the yellow sentence is gone and i click add hardware, but then domoticz tells me: "Please login before adding a new Netatmo device". But i am logged into domoticz already and i am on the same network. So this is strange. I never had this warning, Probably something else then, or ??? Already did browser cookie delete too, refresh the whole thing.

is from the Netatmo-plugin not Domoticz
with the Netatmo-plugin you can not use the add button.
You must use the Login button.
When there is a hardware selected it will update this hardware, in the other case the login-button will create (add) the hardware for you.

The Netatmo-server is very specific with all his data

when I stop the Netatmo service for 20 minutes
and then start the login works for me.

I recommend you renew the credentials then go to Hardware and put in client and secret
select the correct scopes for your device
Press login
you will see the pop-up and login / accept

I hope you can get it to work.

Well must be my mistake, i click login, i login on netatmo and give permission, return to domoticz and before, i mean like weeks ago, i could click add and i get a new hardware. but now it says i need to login first.

Seemed strange to me, it is now saying i need to login. But i guess you are right and i am just tired of it.

Ah and also, normally i use firefox, but suddenly, i need to add admin:password@ in front of the ip:port otherwise it says there is no hardware what so ever, this came up after 2 beta ago.

When i use chrome browser, i can just do ip:port and i get all devices. But before the last 2 beta updates this was also possible with firefox. And because problems arises with netatmo and the login i need to add to view domoticz on my own network i was guessing it perhaps has to do something with eachother. Yes i did delete history cookies etc several times. But after latest beta updates firefox browser needs credentials suddenly.

This browser thing you are describing
seems to me that you have a saved credentials from domoticz in Chrome and not in Firefox.
This is something else as the login for the Netatmo-plugin

Check you settings in Domoticz: in the security tab there is the trusted network field.

Or whatever IP range in which your computer/phone can be, so no login in Domoticz is required from your computer/phone

I do not need saved credentials in my browser, as i am on my local lan network.

Thank you for the explanation of the network settings, but all the ip's are in the known network settings.

This morning i installed latest beta and i get another warning, the 403 is gone now it is this:
Error: Netatmo Thuis: No access granted, forcing login again (Refresh tokens): invalid_grant


I also did a reset on the netatmo site as well before login with domoticz and grant access.
At least there is a change ...

BUT on netatmo webpage: if "" is put, the message is "must be an URL" see screenshot https://ibb.co/XZzZqx4y

I have re do all the process with a new netatmo app ... same result: Error: Netatmo: Invalid/no data received...

In case you are on stable: you won't have success anyway. As per message from @waltervl

Redirect_URI and Webhook URI in Netatmo APP should be empty (not containing ""). See example in post viewtopic.php?p=324524#p324524

Then follow in Domoticz the procedure as shown in post viewtopic.php?p=324480#p324480

I've just upgraded to 16583 also after reading the latest 2 messages.
re-enabled the Netatmo hardware
used the login button to login at Netamo and approved access to the weatherstation and was send back to domoticz again.
unfortunately "computer says no"
