I use an Android tablet with the Homehabit app. Works perfectly.
If you want to use Domoticz Web UI use a browser in kiosk mode.
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

Walter, I always used an iPad but as that one is over 10 yrs old now log graphics are no longer available.
Once I had a google pixel tablet for trials and then I found not all buttons of the devices did react as expected. Sometimes it worked sometimes not. But maybe a matter of knowing how to. So I wonder about others experience. A big advantage (for me) is the console on which the tablet is kept once not in my hands and charged 'automatic' then. Also it has the 'hey google' ability.
