Hi all,
I have the same issue after moving from a 2023 version to the 2024.7 on a raspberry pi.
Version: 2024.7
Build Hash: b317cfab1
Compile Date: 2024-07-13 16:59:31
dzVents Version: 3.1.8
Python Version: 3.9.2 (default, Mar 12 2021, 04:06:34) [GCC 10.2.1 20210110]
The error happens immediately when the device is created and without any update that happened.
The device creation:
Domoticz.Device(Unit=_UNIT_MILEAGE_COUNTER, Name='Mileage (Day)', Type=113, Subtype=0, Switchtype=3, Options={'ValueUnits': 'km'}, Image=Images[_IMAGE].ID, Used=1).Create()
Wouldn't there be a problem with the initialisaeention?
Anybody that could help?
Kr,
F

Re: Stoll error after device creation
This means that the value (sValue) in the database is not correct, is this empty or an empty string?
What happens when you set this to 0 ?
What happens when you set this to 0 ?

Re: Stoll error after device creation
Hi, thanks for the feedback...
I checked with an SQL viewer earlier and the sValue was indeed empty.
I am almost sure that setting it to 0 would help. Even when I thought about it, I was not eager to change directly in the database to avoid side-effect problems.
I checked if it was not possible to give an initialization value with the creation of the device (to force 0), but this was not the case.
Currently I restarted the plugin without the device, but would like to activate back at a certain moment so any recommendation could help.
(btw: it is about https://github.com/FilipDem/Domoticz-BM ... /tree/main).
