Small issue with this version. In the last version my "Floorplan" would not update in Firefox after the laptop had been asleep without a manual refresh. Now in this version, for the first time, the log page also displays this behaviour.

I found the previous behaviour more useful. Perhaps just a small thing has been overlooked.

Otherwise a great rock solid release.

The log page is not displayed without a reason.
Maybe the browser removed the cookie, or you did not enable 'remember me'

'a' solution could be to add the IP address of the laptop in the trusted network so you won't need a username/password

I assume Domoticz is used natively and not behind a (reverse) proxy?

Yes, Domoticz is on the same network and the IP is within the trusted zone. Firefox will connect using https but Edge would only connect with http (I have "Allow basic auto" enabled) and both Edge and Chrome shows a "not secure" warning to the left of the address bar.

All was fine on the previous stable and I obviously cleared cookies and site data.

Who is the boss? You or McAfee? Just disable the scanner for a short time: https://www.wikihow.com/Disable-McAfee

Hello All,

In release notes Domoticz version 2024.7 I saw that Google Cloud Messaging was fixed. I use an iPhone with latest Domoticz iOS application (Client Ver 0.1.55) for which there has not been an update in years.

In the past, GCM (FCM) notifications worked properly with the possibility to choose which mobile device received the message. Later when I encountered notification issues with GCM, I switched over to Pushover.

In Domoticz settings and setup, GCM Notification are enabled and Mobile setup page show iPhone.

Whenever I use test buttons or DzVents to issue GCM messages, following errors appear in the log.

Code: Select all

2024-09-08 17:59:47.674 Status: Notification: Domoticz test
2024-09-08 17:59:48.211 Error: FCM: Could not send message! Errorcode 401 (Auth error from APNS or Web Push Service)
2024-09-08 17:59:48.560 Error: FCM: Could not send message! Errorcode 401 (Auth error from APNS or Web Push Service)
2024-09-08 17:59:48.560 Notification sent (fcm) => Failed
2024-09-08 17:59:48.562 Active notification Subsystems: browser, email, fcm, pushover (4/13)
2024-09-08 18:00:06.713 Status: Notification: Domoticz test
2024-09-08 18:00:07.073 Error: FCM: Could not send message! Errorcode 401 (Auth error from APNS or Web Push Service)
2024-09-08 18:00:07.073 Notification sent (fcm) => Failed
2024-09-08 18:00:07.076 Active notification Subsystems: browser, email, fcm, pushover (4/13)
Is this feature available only for Android phones?

Hi every body!
Can you confirm that with this last version, Gpio system ( old or newest) is fixed?
I use 6 GPIO (4 OUT for relay and 2 IN) I dont want change that ( but i can change the number of port in configuration files)
I have the 2023.2 domoticz version.
I would have the last version in order to use the new version of PV widget!

Thanks you very munch!!

GPIO system did not change, only on newer OS'-es the Linux GPIO system has changed and there is a fix for that. I have no idea if this really works.
But as long as you do not upgrade your OS Domoticz new versions will still use the old way of working.

Posting the request here willl not get it in Domoticz. If you are not able te create it yourself you will have to wait until someone shares it's integration. Perhaps look here https://github.com/MickMake/GoSunGrow/ for some integration. mQTT seems promising of it uses MQTT Autodiscover.
But create another topic as this is definitely not the correct topic to discuss this.

Hi,

What do you mean with "this version"?
The Raspberry Pi OS from 2024-10-22 is just the latest version of Bookworm with all updates installed until that date.

Yes, Domoticz 2024.7 runs on that version of Raspberry Pi OS.

But, what is your issue or question?

Regards
