Platform: raspberry Linux 5.10.103-v7+ armv71 GNU/linux
Plugin/Hardware: RFX 433 / THGR810
Hello,
I have the same issue and have tried all the fixes mentionned here without any success.
Finally, I have one administrator users (admin) and one user.
The admin has no device selected, the user has all selected.
I can see devices on floorplan but never from the menu icons.
(I also tried to select all for admin but same results)
(I tried each setting in incognito but same resuts)
I access the domoticz webpage from my local network thus I'am each time logged as admin.
How can I switch to my user on local network ?
Any other advices ?
Regards

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
On local network and the IP range is in the trusted network in menu setup - settings - security the first admin in the list of menu setup - users will login. So check in menu setup - about what user is logged in. And if an admin clear the assigned device list in menu setup - users.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hi,
Thank you for your help.
In menu settings->security, I removed the value I had in "Networks" editbox.
In menu users, I have one "admin" with Admin rights and one "myuser" with Users rights.
The admin "set devices" has no device selected (note that I also tried with all selected but it was the same)
The myuser "set devices" has all device selected.
I restarted a browser in incognito mode, thus domoticz asked me to login.
I first tried with admin and checked in "about" menu that I was as admin, and it was.
Finally, I see no device under lights, temp, weather nor utility ! I only see my devices on the floorplan (and in Devices of course)
That's the same results with "myuser" !
This behavior has come since the 2024.1 release installation.
Any other ideas ? Any other things I can try ?

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Did you put all your devices in the $hidden room?
Or are your device names starting with a dollar sign $ with makes them hidden.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Good idea, thank.
I had no device in $hidden room.
(And, yet, devices that would be placed there could yet be seen from devices menu)
I even deleted this room yesterday as a test.
My devices are dispatched over 3 rooms.
I can see all my devices in relative floor plans.
If I click on any device, I can see data on the 3 graphical views (day, month, year).
But, before the upgrade to 2024.1, I was able to see my devices (in temperature menu for ex) but I had "no data to display" when I selected them. (I've posted an other topic for that unsolve issue see "no data to display" on this forum)
After the upgrade to 2024.1, my devices disappered from menu devices (lights, temp, ...).
I just see them on room plans or devices list but not from devices menu, thus it's not possible anymore to edit them, that's a actual issue !

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
The issues I know why active devices are shown in menu Setup - Devices with blue arrow and not in the normal device tabs like, switches/lights, temperature, weather etc are:
- Browser cache, so delete it.
- McAfee antivirus browser addin that blocks Domoticz JavaScripts
- the user has only a few devices assigned in menu Setup-Users, for an admin users the assigned devices list should be empty.
- devices are by accident added into the $Hidden room
- devices have a name starting with $ has that hides the devices on purpose.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hello,
I still have the issue.
I repeat again to be sure to be on the same page.
I have two users :
one user "Admin" with the admin rights and no device set (as recommanded).
one user "Ocack" with the user rights and all the devices selected
All of my tabs (switches, temperatures, weather, utility) are empty either in admin or in user
Note that all of my devices are correctly shown in my floorplan (in admin and in user) and I can interact with them (get graphical view, switch on a light, ...)
I repeat tried all the tips (cleared the browser caches, ...)
Because it's not possible to post more than 3 attachements, I will post below the result and the "developper tools" printscreen where I got error when I select "Switches" for example as admin.
I hope that it could help

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
The behavior seems to be similar as hidden devices but I know no other way than already mentioned (user assigned, $hidden room or $ as prefix in name).
An antivirus scanner in the browser could also give these issues as it could block some Js script. You could also try to run the update again manually to be sure all files are there (sudo ./update release).

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hi waltervl,
If the server would consider my devices as "hidden", why the floorplan can show them ?
And would I have an error in the developper tools ?
This is not due to an antivirus because it was already mentionned as a tips and, as I told you, I already checked all the basical tips regarding this issue.
As already mentionned, I also have the issue from Android with the basical configuration of Microsoft Edge but also with the basical configuration of the "Samsung Internet" browser. I also have the issue from another Windows 10 computer with Edge or Firefox and yet all this was working before the update.
We can conclude that is not a problem from the client (any browser) but from the server domoticz and since the update 2024.1
What about the errors that are raised my the "developper tools" of the browser when I select "Switches", is it normal ?
Should not be focus on that ?
Is it possible to track the JS requests made when clicking on "switches" ?
Did you have the same (even if you can see devices) ?
Can you check from your side by hitting <Ctrl+Maj+I> then select "Console" after having clickedd on "Switches" ?

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
The errors could be coming from a missing js file so please retry to update your environment. As there could be something wrong in the original update/installation. I have seen that before.
If there are still script errors I am not able to help you as I am not familiar with this. It should not be a bug as then a lot more people would have this issue. All I know I told you already...
Hopefully somebody else could step in but it seems you have a very unique situation.
You could try to setup a test system and import your database and see what happens.

Thank,
I'am going to setup a new installation and attach my database. That would determine if the issue is relative to my installation or my database.
I'll keep you in touch.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hello,
I made a backup of my database
I move my domoticz folder to domoticz_copy
Then, I installed a new version of domoticz by using this command : sudo bash -c "$(curl -sSfL https://install.domoticz.com)"
(You can see the detail in attachement)
Then I reboot my system
Then I changed the admin password (that was domoticz as default)
Then I restored my database
And the issue is still there : All the dashboards are empty while my floorplan can show the devices and my devices can be list in setup->device !
Note that with the fresh install I lost some pictures like you can see in attachment, I lost the open/closed door icons.
Most important is that I still have the "GenerateLiveSearchTextT is not defined" error
Is there a domoticz expert to help me ?
The issue is not due to a bad domoticz installation nor relative to the client side.
The issue does exist since the 2024.1 version.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hello,
I come back with some news while I'am debugging the "GenerateLiveSearchTextT is not defined" error.
For an unkown reason, the function "GenerateLiveSearchTextT" is actually not present inside the domoticz.js file that is loaded by my browser.
As you can see in attachment, the file loaded in the browser is an old one (2016 at the top beginning) while the more recent one indicates 2017 at the top beginning.
However, the domoticz.js file of the last domoticz release that is installed on my raspberry do have the "GenerateLiveSearchTextT" function defined and do have the 2017 indication at the top beginning.
It seems that the browser doesn't load the correct domoticz.js file ! How is that possible ? Where does this domoticz.js file of the browser come ?
I searched locally for the "domoticz.js" file all over my system and i'am sure that i have the more recent one as you can see in attach
Any idea ?
Regards
I come back with some news while I'am debugging the "GenerateLiveSearchTextT is not defined" error.
For an unkown reason, the function "GenerateLiveSearchTextT" is actually not present inside the domoticz.js file that is loaded by my browser.

Re: All dashboards empty after Domoticz upgrade
Hello,
the old domoticz.js came from caches.
Thus after having cleared the caches, I get all my devices correctly.
As waltervl has suspected, the issue came from my domoticz setup ! Thanks guy.
I cannot explain why I had this issue after several updates and several caches clearing !
Anyway and finally, a new fresh installation and a cache clearing has solved the issue.
The most important to remind is to not hesitate to install a new fresh domoticz release and next restore your own database.
Thanks a lot
