No data to display
Version: 2022.1
Platform: Raspbery Pi 4/Ubuntu 20.04
Description:
I have very small configuration with only one sensor - P1 power meter. In Utility and Report it is showing the correct data, but when I click on Log instead of all graphs a message "No data to display" shown. I've tried full re-installation of the Domoticz and clear browser cache - no help - still have the same issue. It is used to work before, but at some moment has stopped and I can't get it back to work.
Any ideas how to make it working again ?

Re: No data to display
Can you go to menu setup- settings, tab meters and change the P1 meter decimal setting? And click on Apply.
Is there also no information in the report section (first click on log then button report.

Re: No data to display
Switching off decimals on P! solved the issue. Turning it on again does not cause any issues, still working. Report section was ok even when Log section was broken.
Thank you for help.

Hello,
I have this "No data to display" issue, that's the reason why I've replied on this topic to submit my issue too.
As recommanded, I've cleared browser cache + appcache but issue still exists.
I use either Microsoft Edge Browser (from my PC) or Samsung Internet (from my phone) to open Domoticz WebPage and both browser have issue.
Actually, a plan is configured with a drawing of my room and I've placed a temperature device called "TH_Salon".
When, I click on this Icon from Dashboard plan tabpage, the history Log is correctly shown. (All the 3 graphs are correctly drawn with data)
BUT, from the Temperature tabpage, when I click on "Log" button on the "TH_Salon" temperature widget, the history just indicates "No data to display" in all 3 graphs.
It's the same from the device list accessible from settings page
Note that it's the same for any device : From Plan page, history log is OK but from specific device list, "No data to display" is indicated !?
Note that I also tried to change the P1 meter decimal setting as indicated in this topic but without success
Thanks for your help.

Re: No data to display
If you click on F5 (or Ctrl-F5) on that page that shows "No data to display"?
The P1 Meter setting is only for the P1 meter graphs.
It seems that you have a caching issue. What if you use a browser in incognito/privacy mode?

Re: No data to display
Hello,
I tried with my samsung browser in "secret mode" but still the same i.e. from drawing plan, graphs are filled with data but graphs are empty with "no data o display" if I click on log from the temperature tabpage.
I also tried to refresh the webpage like F5 does.
I also tried with microsoft edge in "Inprivate" mode then F5 : still have no data to display while it's ok from dashboard plan page.
Any other idea or test ?
Regards

Re: No data to display
I have no other clue than for you to restart the complete domoticz server.
Do you experience this no data display issue also on other (temperature) devices in domoticz that are not on the floorplan?

Hello,
No effect after reboot or service restart.
All the device logs in temperature and meter tabpage return "no data to display" except if these logs are requested by clicking on the device icon on floorplan.
However, devices in light and weather tabpage work well.

Re: No data to display
Hello,
I tried with the latest beta version 2022.2 (build 14600) and i still have the issue
I finally went back to the latest release 2022.2 but it's still the same (I was at 2022.1 when I posted the issue).
So, I repeat my issue with more details :
I have, for example, a device called "TH_Room"
This device is placed on Floorplan.
My dashboard points to Floorplan.
1.
From the floorplan, when I click on the icon of my device "TH_Room", I've got data for Day, Month and Year graph.
The page point to "http://192.168.0.X:XXXX/#/Floorplans" and a page refresh goes back to the floorplan.
Rem : If I go to "Report" I have a empty page with "undefinedundefined"
2.
From the Temperature tabpage, when I click on the button "Log" of my device "TH_Room", I've got "no data to display" for Day, Month and Year graph
The page point to "http://192.168.0.X:XXXX/#/Devices/21599/Log" and a page refresh still show "no data to display"
Rem : If I go to "Report" I can see correctly graph with data
It's the same issue for all my Temperature devices (data from floorplan OK, but not from Temperature tabpage)
It's the same issue for all my Utility devices (Energy data from floorplab OK, but not from Utility tabpage)
Rem : I've no issue with all my Weather devices, I can see the same data log from floorplan or from Weather tabpage
Thank you for your advices

Re: No data to display
I'm having a similar issue for a couple of years now. Tried all suggestions to no avail.
I don't have a room plan, so no matter what I do I can't get any valid historical graphics.
Subtle difference though I get today's graph, today's total in last week (single day), today's data for last month as well (single day), last year show about a month of data from 1 year ago a few days near the middle of the year and today's total.
Comparing usage shows data for 12 months, no idea if it is accurate or not.
I got 6+ years of data for many power meters and many temperature sensors, but historical data became unusable a long time ago, I'm barely using the interface anymore, only to switch stuff on/off and can't use it to compare or track power consumption anymore.
Any suggestions hints would be appreciated.

Re: No data to display
Yes I have the same problem "No Data to display" for my 12 temperature sensors for some years now.
They do show accurate temperature data from the Report tab. So the database is not empty.
Barometer readings etcetera are presented OK, it's only a problem with temperature data apparently.
The temperature graphs originally worked fine.
The problem persists, on my W11Pro personal computer, on my W10Home notebook, and on my Samsung mobile phone.
Clearing cache, incognito modus etc. does not help.

-Python 2.7.14 (sep 2017)

Hello Walter,
After updating Domoticz to the latest version the problem persists.
There are still no temperature statistics shown.
This recent version is: 2024.3.15889

Re: No data to display
OK, check in browser with F12 if you have related errors (js file missing or similar)
And how are these temperature devices updated? By a plugin, json API call, integrated hardware gateway? All the same hardware or different hardware gateways?

DEVICES
The temperature devices are esp modules with wifi connection.
RELATED ERRORSs:
I need a bit of studying om how to interpret F12 info pages
Via "Instellingen", "Log", "Status" the following error is reported during startup of Domoticz:
PluginSystem: Failed dynamic library load, install the latest libpython3.x library that is available for your platform.
I will follow up on this Python error and revert.
Thank you, Steven.

Re: No data to display
Python error is probably not related to this issue as Domoticz is not using Python to create graphs.
If you are using esp devices to send temperatures they probably will send Domoticz API commands. Perhaps you are able to catch such an API command as it could be wrong.

I've tried to debug the issue and here is what I can see in the developper tools of Microsoft Edge
That could help.

Re: No data to display
You have to look in the logging of the esp devices to see what they are sending.
You can also try to switch the theme to another default theme.
Also try in browser incognito/private mode to rule out browser caching.

Re: No data to display
As indicated in my previous replies, I already tested all the basic tips that I found on this forum and even a lot of yours.
Indeed, I already tried to change the theme and, I already tried to clean the browser caches and also tried in incognito mode with several browser and other OS.
About the devices, they are working correctly as I can see its and can show their data in graphical view but only from the dashboard, never by the tabpages (devices, temperatures, ...).
Anyway, the logs shows no error.
Here is 3 pictures that I hope useful
As you can see, the graphical view is ok when I select any device from the dashboard but devices, temperatures, ... tabpage is empty.
The browser developer tools returns some error that I can say if it's linked to my issue
Thanks for your tips.
Regards
