Raspberry pi 5

Post by joetuttle »

Anyone have Domoticz running on a pi 5? I have tried but no joy. 2024-four seams to install ok on raspios-bookworm lite, no errors but can not connect on port 8080 or 443
Thanks.

On Bookworm it is best to use the Docker install due to the OpenSSL3 library issue (for https 443 access).

Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

I am running remote headless, guess I will have to stick with my pi4b untill domoticz has a fix.
thanks for the reply.

I got the impression that docker needs a os with a desktop to install I am using raspberry bookworm lite. I will go back and revisit docker. Thanks.

The pi5 requires bookworm It will not boot with bullseye or buster.
