Cannot connect to dashboard anymore

Post by Kiekerjan »

As of this week I cannot connect to dashticz on my tablet anymore. Works fine on pc or phone but not on the Android tablet (Lenovo TB-8505X with Android 10. Dashticz (and domoticz) run on a raspberry pi (raspbian 10 (Buster)). As I do get time-outs I tried the Network time-out errors section of the manual (dashticz readthedocs >> #network-time-out-errors) but that didn't solve the issue.
I did get this error:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install -t buster-backports libseccomp2
Reading package lists... Done
E: The value 'buster-backports' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as such a release is not available in the sources
Also clearing cache, using incognito mode, using Firefix (iso Chrome) did not help. I can access other pages on my network, that does work as exected. So the issue is on the tablet (the main controller for the house) only. Do you have any suggestions?

It stopped running after you did that install? Why did you do the install? Can you go back?

I remember having to uninstall Firefox, restart the computer and install Firefox to resolve a similar probleem.
Forgot the cause of the mishap.
Bugs bug me.

It just stopped running, I tried to install firefox to see if it was browser related but that was not the case.
But There are of course all kinds of auto-updates on the android tablet and also also run updates of the linux on the raspberry pi. For the latter I don't recall that it stopped working right after the updates.

It runs fine on the computer, just not on the Android tablet. Also the domoticz dashboard does not load on the tablet.

Did you do resets? In my case in particular my router sometimes blocks access to my RPi with Domoticz, even though the provider (Ziggo) claims it will never do that. Not all devices are then blocked, only the connection between for example my PC and the RPi. The laptop then still has access to everything else. And my other PC still has access to the RPi.

Great, that worked. Thank you! I still don't understand why but it did. I rebooted my Unifi USG router and that solved the issue. (It is behind a ziggo router in bridge mode but i didn't reboot that)
