Can anyone tell me what the units of measurement of the UV Index logs are... in particular, is the daily value an average over 24 hours? Is this the maximum value? Minimum?

The UVI has no unit. The abbreviation says it already, as the last character stands for Index.

As far as I know, it is the momentary value at any time.
