Many of my devices disappeared for any reason. Although they work. As an example I show here a power plug.
I can switch it manually from the devices and the dzvents script work as well.
Setting the device to "unused" and back to "used" does not change anything.
Any ideas?

Re: Devices disappeared - although they are functioning
Did you update Domoticz recently to a new stable/beta version?
As in latest stable you have this issue if you assigned devices to an admin user. Only the assigned devices are visible. So go to menu setup - users and check the assigned devices list. For an admin it should be empty.

That solved this issue. All devices are back.
Thanks!

Re: Devices disappeared - although they are functioning
Is there a way to solve this and get the switches back without upgrading further? I'm on the latest stable and don't want to upgrade further to lose the Z-wave functionality. The devices disappeared when I added another user and started to fiddle around with the settings.

Re: Devices disappeared - although they are functioning
Visibility of devices for users is related to the assigned devices in menu setup - Users. So nothing special about this.
Only for a user with role admin it is better to have no devices assigned to be sure you see all devices.
For further updates you have to move to Zwave-JS-UI and MQTT. A lot of Domoticz users have done this already. It is some work to setup but it works. Even better than the old OpenZwave integration looking at Zwave stability and speed.

Re: Devices disappeared - although they are functioning
Yes, I know @waltervi but so far it has been a bit too complicated for me to get MQTT and Docker up and running properly.
I can create users on all levels and add newly created switches, but the first five that I've used (that are connected to switches) aren't showing any more. I've tried both adding them to give permissions and having new admin users with full rights, but the old switches aren't visible any more.

Ok, got the switches back. I had added them to the room plan $HiddenDevices which made them..... drumroll.... hidden!
