Which floor heating thermostat works in Domoticz?
Looking for a thermostat module for a floor heater that works in Domoticz. I have the Qubino ZMNHIDxS1 but that is not working properly. (Problem with the setpoint). Looking for an alternative like the Thermofloor heatit ZM 2/3 it seems they have a similar setpoint issue. Who has a floor heating thermostat that works in Domoticz?

I've the Heatit Z-TRM3 which is working in Domoticz by Zwave
The setpoint issue was a bug a solved with a new firmware
If needed you can find the working firmware here

Thank you. I will be sure to try it. And report back with the results.
One more question: did you flash the module via domoticz or via another way?

You can upgrade the firmware with ZWavePCController which is included in the link

Re: Which floor heating thermostat works in Domoticz?
I only now saw thet the Z-TRM3 is a full thermostat. What i need is just a module without a display. So something like the Heatit ZM2 thermostat.
I havnt been able to discover online if a similar firmware upgrade is available for the ZM2 is needed and availabe.
Hope someone knows this.

If you don't need a thermostat with display, why don't you use a simple switch with a temperature sensor combined?

Re: Which floor heating thermostat works in Domoticz?
Maybe that is a possibility but it should be a switch with a relay in order the switch the high current that the electrical heating element consumes. Not sure which module would be suitable and which temp sensor to link and how.
The existing floor thermostat has a temperature sensor in the floor. I like to re-use it. Also that module, which doesn’t work anymore, is “hidden” in the wall of another adjacent room. So all the wiring is in a different room than where the floor heater is. I can’t change the wiring without major demolition work in the existing rooms. My plan always has been to use a module that can switch the high current based on the measured temperature in the floor and a setpoint. The setpoint I like to set with Domoticz. Possibly later on I like to add a LCD in the room that shows the current room temperature and allows a changing the setpoint via the LCD too.
So far my thoughts are that I can most easily and reliably do this with a built-in wall thermostat module, like the heatit one as described above, if compatible with Domoticz.

Re: Which floor heating thermostat works in Domoticz?
You can easy build it yourself.
I am using Sonoff Basic with 2 DS18B20 ( room and floor temp. ) running ESPeasy like standalone thermostat.
Setpoint is received from Domoticz, heating status and energy consumption are exported to Domoticz.
You can use Shelly1 too for that now.
First version with Wemos D1 and relay module you can see here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ef6tRinOQ4
I also planned to add a display and buttons for local control, but I found that control via Domoticz is sufficient.
It works from 2017 with minor changes without any problem.
( Only one SD card crashes due repeated power failures in one wind storm )
